Problem for me...none of my local friends or family have been. But Helen, my favorite checkout lady at Sobey's, in a few of our chats over the last couple of years has mentioned Dr Katherine MacAdam and told me she was a miracle worker. And she is! Just a few sessions with this very professional, very bubbly chiropractor and I'm a new woman. Plus she has a couple of amazing massage therapists in her office too...but that's another Yelp story.

The receptionists that I met were welcoming and professional and made sure I had all the right forms to fill in. They answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. My appointment with Mark Hansen, the physiotherapist, went very well. He was very gentle, very thorough and easy to talk to. He answered all my questions and has great knowledge of your muscles. Now my spouse and I have been seeking alternative treatments across the city and we were recommended to this place by our friend. We liked Mike who specializes in osteopath treatment. He was excellent but we have our beef with the way this organization's front desk operate and how they conduct their business. I've seen some unhappy clients complaint about being charge on their credit card and were very upset with the front desk and I can't say exactly for what reason but later on, when I brought my mother for treatment, I was forced to fill in the form with my credit card number on it. That was a little much, because I did not have to do that when I came in earlier. But it told me something - and it made alot of sense as recently as last week when my wife left a message to cancel an appointment, they did not read the message and immediately charge to her credit card on the day that appointment was suppose to happen, without any prior warning!!. So I can understand now why that customer was unhappy with the front desk in one of my earlier visits as this has happened many times before (I presume) and has happen to us now. Look, its not like we're going to run away. We like Mike, so we'll come back. We constantly go for this sorts of treatment and money is not an issue for us, but to be treated this way only puts a bad taste and obviously sends the wrong message. We want to be good and loyal customers, but don't you think loyal customers should be treated better eh??

I am also a registered massage therapist and have seen many other therapists and now I only see her. Booking my appointment for an issue with a nerve in the back of my leg that would be tweaking to the point where it felt like a tight piano string. I went in and she pulled out a series of needles and told me to take a deep breath. She was like lighting and I was her pin cushion. After she had all the needles in my she went back and ever so lightly turned the needles. While she was doing this the energy that was radiating towards that needle was incredible. This is something that I have placed into my regular routine for maintenance of this issue. I Stop Pain treats a wide variety of issues like weight gain, depression, energy. Quiet amazed by how good it felt to have this done. All this for $70 bucks.

Frequently they have offers on facebook or for last minute bookings but their prices are competitive, low enough to be below the reasonable customary charge as considered by Blue Cross and Sun Life medical plans. They can direct bill to most medical plans and uses an online booking system that emails reminders and confirmations, which are easy to cancel or reschedule. As an added bonus they offer aromatherapy with essential oils, customizing a scent to the mood you'd like or just using the oil you prefer. Downside for inaccessibility with the stairs to get to this second floor business but it's worth the hike.
