It was in stock (I checked) and they lied about the price to deliver a bottle of scotch which was 1/2 the price of what was purchased. Funny enough, all of it was documented online in Drizly so it wasn't hard to figure out. Had gotten other items from here previously and never had an issue, however those were all bought by dudes; I guess they just focus on lying to women. Regardless of the premise or their chauvinism, last time I checked this type of behavior is called fraud. Looking online on Yelp and elsewhere, it's amazing how many reviews call out the owner for being a jerk (check Google). Allow me to join the chorus, as where there's smoke, apparently there's a fire. Drizly didn't help the situation but they created it, and I help resolved it completely without any interest from the store in owning up to what they did. Steer clear as theyre's plenty of great liquor stores in White Plains and Westchester in general who don't conduct themselves like scumbags.

Price wise also very competitive. On to the whiskey fest....there were at least 15 tables with 2 or 3 different bourbons and or scotches to sample. The vendors were well versed in their product presentation. There was also plenty of staff around to assist with a purchase if needed. On an aside they also provided some finger foods . For a first event they did a great job. There were some familiar faces both vendors as well as customers. It great to be able to sample products before spending $50, 60 or even $100 on a bottle only to be dissatisfied. It was fun and educational and looking forward to their 2nd annual event.

I don't have a problem with the staff per se...but rather the young woman with the glasses behind the counter. I had purchased an assortment of bottled wines and brandies and they were not boxed. So...I asked the young lady to please wrap them in silver paper and tie them with green or red ribbon for the holidays...as they were to be given to various people as gifts. She rang up my purchase, I paid her and she slapped down the wrapping bags and ribbon on the counter. She stated that she doesn't or wouldn't be able to wrap my bottles. Now I looked behind me and there were no other people on line...so I did not understand the problem or why she wouldn't do this for me. Most if not ALL liquor stores wrap your bottles for the Holidays. I told her I'm not sure how to do this very well and that I don't have a scissors on me and that I needed to make various stops when I leave here. She told me she doesn't wrap and that was that. So rather than fight and make a scene in the store...I put my bottles in a box because they don't give bags with your purchase, I told her she was very rude and left the store.
