I waited a week before I got an estimate from them for removal of everything and it came to $6,000, with $3,000 paid to them up front. Boy did they see me coming. As I had questions, my calls went unanswered and I didn't get my $175 returned. The "consulting" I received was nothing more than a very nice man coming out to look at my storage uni and repeating that he would have to figure out how to do everything and would get back to me. Ultimately I called another estate liquidator (patrice-inc-estate-liquidator.business.site) who were on it in one day, had everything removed, organized gone to auction in less than a week. Though the price seemed high, I decided to work with them because they came recommended by my property management company. However, when I inspected the house after they informed me that the job was completed, I was appalled. I had been clear that I needed all the walls wiped down and the baseboards cleaned so we could paint the next day, yet there was clear dirt on all of the baseboards and visible dust on the walls. They also failed to clean one of our two toilets, and they left tons of visible grease on the walls on either side of the oven. As I walked through the house, I saw more and more problems: clumps of dust bunnies left in almost every corner, cobwebs left hanging from light fixtures, dust left on top of every doorframe, dirt left in almost every window sill, etc. I immediately sent a message to the company expressing my disappointment, and even though they knew I was dissatisfied, they processed the full payment on my credit card that evening. Then, they refused to issue me even a partial refund, even though they clearly had not satisfied the agreed upon scope of work in the time they had agreed to perform it in. They also sent me an email falsely accusing me of refusing a walkthrough with them (I did a thorough walkthrough the following morning with one of their employees) and refusing to take any responsibility. A horrible business!

This was after I made a first call the same day to another well-known junk hauler. I have used both companies in the past. Both did a nice job for me. This time around I was in a hurry because I'd gotten some water in my basement after several days of strong thunderstorms. Nothing got damaged or wet in my unfinished basement as I keep everything in my basement either in plastic bins or on shelving units. But, it's a total pain in the [blank] to wet-vac the large floor as I've had two back surgeries in the past 3 years. And, timing was also important! I was having a basement water-proofing company come in Friday (today) to install a French Drain (a BIG job) so getting rid of all the extra basement "STUFF" I could toss before THEY arrived was very tight timing! JDogg gave me a very competitive quote, at least $150 less per volume (1/4 truck, 1/2 truck, etc.) then that of its well-known competitor! The guys, Cody and Jarvin (sp?) arrived right on time and hustled everything up and out of my basement and garage in record time! They had been here in the past and I recognized them.
