There are trails and a pond to go fishing, an event space a fire pit as well as a tavern and grill. Regretfully, We didn't have time to explore all of the lovely property. Our cottage was very large with high ceilings. The bedroom, the bathroom and the living room were all quite large. We had an efficiency kitchen in the living room, as well as a gas fireplace and a TV. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The bathroom towels were large and plush. The interior was spotlessly, clean with hardwood flooring and cabinetry. I would absolutely stay here again. It seems like an amazing place to stay with a large group or hold some type of event. The price was right. If I ever returned to Gettysburg, I would try to stay here.

Our cabin was a nice room, clean with all the amenities we needed. I love the Admiral(K) TN lodge, with jet jacuzzi tub and shower, with a separate room with couch. You can rent the connected corporal quarters if you have a larger party. The staff is so friendly, they brought our food we ordered from the tavern to our room on their go cart. It's like a mini resort for cabins. I would definitely stay here again. So close to downtown Gettysburg and the military park. Just a little heads up, Wi-Fi is not the best

I had booked them and with her photographer backing out right before her wedding said call Keen, maybe they will be able to jump in since it's a Friday. Sure enough they did and it was STUNNING. I knew coming in to my day what Chantel stays on point, that woman will do whatever she needs to get the shot and she will not fail you if you have shots you want, I don't know how but with such a tight timeline they do it all. I've now experienced Derek as a photographer and our videographer. His excitement makes you freaking excited. He constantly is pumped about the shot , makes you feel like a movie star. They both are the most PASSIONATE people I ever met. Above and beyond ... they do more. They do way more. I mean endless hours and then hours and hours of editing. They are a dream team ( seriously I don't know how as husband and wife you do what you do without frustration , but you two are adorable side by side). I can't imagine what I would have done had I not found them through word of mouth. I am gushing inside writing this. Seriously from our first meeting in Starbucks I knew you two were it. I knew you had it under control. I knew you'd make my day everything I wanted and I knew you would do the ONE thing most important to me, capture my moments forever so that when I look back I can see this for years to come and feel like I didn't miss a moment in a crazy day that flies by. Every room. At first, everyone was "omg - we're all a minimum of 3.5 hours away - WHY!!!" As Mother of the Bride, I had a lot of work on this wedding, and Connie was my first contact here. She made everything perfect from the onset. My husband and I visited about 3 weeks before the big day to lock down decorations with Connie in the amazing barn. She made us feel welcome & was so incredibly helpful. We left with a feeling of control, where before I was just frazzled. I knew she understood my vision for the decorations and would do everything she could to make it happen. The house itself is a magical place with rooms tucked through this door, past the games, to up one of the two staircases, to behind that door off the parlor, to down the stairs through the solarium! Tea and coffee are always available, along with lemonade and water. They offer a variety of teas and coffee pods for all flavor lovers, including decaf. From this room we open to the grand solarium. Completely surrounded by the 2nd-story deck and porch with an outdoor fireplace! Big windows allow for streaming sunlight all day - it sparkles! Tables set here are for the 100% delicious breakfasts Sally whips up in the kitchen! The deck/porch off this room lent itself to the cocktail hour for the rehearsal dinner, where everyone had the most fun petting some of the many cats that live on the property! The stairs leading down from the solarium held two more rooms. Anna's Garden room. The other is Houghtelin Hideaway Room - wow! This was our room. While not technically an "old" part of the house structure, it oozed aged refinement. A large king bed was the highlight with the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept in! I seriously need to know what it was - I peeked under the sheets and did see a foam topper, but that couldn't be the whole secret! A big 1920s oak 'set-back" dresser gave ample room to put our clothes away. smart lamps on either side of the bed lent some modern convenience with USB ports, plugs, and such. A beautiful vanity sat as a use for either a desk or a vanity with a large mirror over. There is also a bench with a large mirror over - plenty of "getting ready" mirrors. A closet with overhead light helped to hold out garments, bags, with hooks set extra high for gowns and such. The other side of the room held a huge leather sofa that you just sink into! Chairs and tables allow this area to be a nice conversation nook. The bathroom was a masterpiece in itself! A huge walk-in stone shower with both a hand-held wall-mounted spray as well as an overhead rain shower head. They also supply shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in a wall-mounted dispenser. The enormous soaking tub was well used by myself three times! The vanity was well lit with so much room for things underneath with open shelves. A door out of the room at back led to a small patio area with a table and chairs and a path that leads directly to the wedding garden. Everyone there did everything possible to make my daughter's wedding weekend a magical event, and I truly hope we didn't overwhelm them too much! Right to the moment we pulled out on Sunday morning, watching the house fade in the mirrors behinds us - we knew we would be back again and again. This place felt like home. And one last - if you are holding an even there is none better than Connie to help you! She is an amazing, helpful, joy-filled, exuberant, AWESOMEDANCER, of an event coordinator!!

Connectivity not an issue. A little hard to find Zigbone, as there is zero signage along the way, save a small one right at the entrance. Thankfully, an easy drive to both Emmitsburg, MD, and Waynesboro, PA, as Sabillasville has a US Post Office but no other stores or restaurants.
