Very cute little restaurant. The food was great and the bread served with meal was awesome. Service was good. My only complaint is that the prices were pretty high. I ordered Mac n cheese and it was good, but not great, it was around $4 for about a half a cup. A bowl of gumbo was about $18, if I'm remembering correctly. I didn't order gumbo, but I can't see paying that price. Anyway I'm glad I tried it once. read more

Everything is homemade and nothing is out the can. The nachos are amazing add some gator and ummmmmmm ummm ummm. Majority of the entrees come in two heaping sizes. Wow! This is a hidden gem for sure! The menu has so many things on it that's it's just hard to pick. They made it easy by bringing out testers of some of classics! Gumbo, Crawfish pie and Chicken/Dumplings! They were all superb!! They start with yeast rolls and hot water cornbread with honey butter on the table. I can't say enough great things about this place. Our waiter was knowledgeable and the owner came out to visit several times. He even sat down and sang a song for us. We will definitely be returning! The decor is wonderful! The service was great. Came out with these awesome muffins and cinnamon butter goodness for them. Then the food came out, everything was great. Shrimp were cooked perfectly and lightly battered. Scampi was good. Onion rings were off the charts delicious! Mac and cheese was good, as was the hamburger steak and gravy. I will not visit crossett AR without eating here. My husband had the fried pork chop with mashed potatoes. The pork chop was good but the potatoes were cold. I had the fried shrimp with fries. Shrimp was good but the fries were so cold they were hard. Seems a bit pricey. Either that or we were overcharged. We didnt get a printout of the bill.
