Talk about a diamond in the rough. Was in town couple weeks back for work and needed food. Thought I'd try the Bistro. Got the alligator po boy and onion rings. It was awesome!!! Highly recommend the restaurant and this entree. Will visit again when in the area!

Awesome local spot we stumbled across. Everything on the menu looked good. Decided to try the crawfish po'boy and it was really good. The other guys with me were happy with their food too. Will definitely try it again and keep working through the menu.

Great little Gem in Crossett. I had the fried pork chop and it was excellent very tender and seasoned nicely. The butter and bread they bring to start off could be a meal in itself. The waitress and the owner where both very friendly. If I am passing by again I would definitely stop.

My husband and I ate at the Beech Street Bistro today. The food was excellent. My husband had the crawfish pie and I had a hamburger and onion rings. We both shared the cheesecake. Everyone was so hospitable. They made you feel like family.

I've been here many times and it never disappoints. My husband loves the po boy and I love the burgers. My family loves the chicken fried steak too. The tea is good and the rolls are delicious!

Everything was great but these little wonderful blueberry cream cheese stuffed beignet were delicious!!! We also had the crawfish pie and gumbo which both were equally delicious. The owner and staff were the best also. We will definitely add this spot to our list of best places to visit while in the area.

    Chicken fried steak! And gumbo...

This place really impressed me. The town seems quiet with a bunch of fast food chains - but this place was a pleasant surprise. The owner was very attentive to everyone and the staff was very inviting. I ordered the chicken fried steak w white gravy - excellent flavor. The Mac and cheese was ok. Gumbo was hearty and tasty for sure. Overall a great find for the night.

The food was delicious, service impeccable! We live 40 miles away but can't wait to go back. Our group of six loved everything we ordered.

Amazing food. Have enjoyed many dishes on the menu. Enjoyed listening to a bluegrass band one night we were there too.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes…read more Everything was amazing. We started with a dozen tamales. They were seasoned perfectly and were delicious. Then they brought out the broiled shrimp. The sauce was so good, I could have bathed in it. It was like liquid lemon pepper. We dipped the garlic rolls into the sauce. So good. The steak was a 42-45 oz porterhouse that was the best steak I have even had. And I've been to some world famous steak restaurants. This blew Peter Lugers out of the water. The fries were fresh, hand cut and cooked perfectly, The salad was simple but one of my favorite parts of the meal. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was quaint and welcoming. This was far out of the way for us but so worth it.

Hell, I go to Doe's in Monroe every single time I am in Monroe. When I would profess my love for Doe's to my Mississippi friends they would always tell me: "you have to go to the Greenville location. It's the original". I figured they were right but also figured I would never be in Greenville since there are not many things to do there. But 2025 was the year that I finally made it here. We made a special stop on the way to Eureka Springs. It was everything I had hoped and I absolutely loved it. You must know that this is the original location and it is not fancy on the outside or the inside. Parking is mostly on the street and the neighborhood seems a wee bit sketchy. The building looks like an old house from the outside. Needless to say, the kids were skeptical and wondered why their dad drug them here. That continued when we walked in to the kitchen, walked through the other kitchen, and were seated in one of the rooms. One of the kids said: "I feel like I am dining at someone's house". Exactly. This place is famous! All skepticism was washed away when we got our food. A ribeye and fries for me and a fillet and fries for them to share. Both were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and made this Doe's fan grin from ear to ear. It was a great meal I will remember forever. Was it cheap? Definitely not. For two entrees, a beer, and a tea, it was around $200 with a tip. Was it worth it to me? Hell yes. I freakin loved it. Is it worth a drive from New Orleans just to eat here? Probably not. Should you divert a road trip to eat here? Absolutely. By the way, service was exactly as you would expect. Super friendly and we were treated like regulars despite it being our first time. Also, there was a cop working outside so don't be scared.
