    3lbs crawfish

Food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Food came out fast and hot. Their seafood gumbo was also fantastic too.

FYI- this spot is NOT taking COVID precautions!! Went on a Thursday night and it was PACKED with no social distancing, no mask enforcement, no divisions between parties. Saw the situation and immediately opted for take out. The crawfish were 6.99/lb and it was delish, even hot after the 20min drive back to eat them. Additional charge for extra corn and potatoes! It was super speedy, received our food within 10 minutes of ordering. 4 stars for the food, 2 stars for the lack of care for CDC recommendations and COVID precautions. :(

A complete dive with pretty good food. I probably ordered the wrong thing but wanted a taste of everything so I went with the Cormier Bowl. This consists of: jambalaya, red beans, pulled pork, and coleslaw in like a kind of kfc style bowl. Pulled pork - outstanding. Jambalaya - fantastic. Coleslaw - delicious and refreshing away from the heaviness of everything else but I might want all of these items separated from each other instead of piled together but that's a matter of preference. The jambalaya was probably one of my favorite things here. I think the rest of the family got po boys or gumbo and the crawfish etoufee which sounded tempting. It's a mostly eat out doors kind of spot with large picnic tables and a smoker and the bathrooms out back outside. I heard they sell turkeys for thanksgiving which I guess my sister did this year. Definitely a no frills delicious food spot worth checking out in the area.

First ate here over 20 years ago and it's as good today as it was then. The crawfish are seasoned perfectly and the service is outstanding. My server was Destiny and she takes pride not only in her work but in sharing the story of how this little place got started. For a complete review please check out my latest video on our YouTube channel. You can actually meet Destiny and some of the satisfied customers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBz9NsyEEwc

Came in from out of town for work and was told we had to come here. The food was amazing and the service was great as well. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

Perfectly seasoned crawfish with potatoes and corn to match. This place was so good I went twice the same week during my travels to Monroe. I highly recommend Cormier's

My favorite place for crawfish. Some places compare in taste but no one compares in the quality. I hardly get any dead crawfish and they're HUGE. The service is awesome and my husband loved the po boy.

I'm guessing there aren't too many out-of-towners that venture into Cormier's. We are likely the minority. Meanwhile, in town for a ULM football game we looked for the most local Cajun we could find and ended up here, twice. The first time we came for the blue crabs, which they unfortunately sold out by 7pm and we left and went somewhere else. However, the second time, we decided to dive into the regular menu and enjoyed it. The third time it was crawfish season and we left thrilled. What surprised us the most was the prices. For the quality of food that's delivered here, the prices are superb, almost too cheap to believe. If you've been to a Pappadeaux or Copeland's, expect to shave those prices in half and get better food. Cormier's is quality Cajun without a high price tag. But, don't expect white tablecloth service, either. Sure, there's friendly, helpful waitresses, but here you can eat with the locals, eat local food and enjoy a laid back atmosphere on picnic tables in the sweltering heat (or on a cold winter day!) What could be better, right? Still, the prices pave the way for a great lunch or dinner with the entire family, without having to shovel too much cash. And, they do a great job at delivering good Po-Boys, gumbo, crawfish etouffee and other Cajun dishes. If you want casual and flavor, you'll come here. The rundown: Gumbo: Much soupier than many are used to, but wonderful flavor and fresh ingredients. Crawfish etoufee: Again, very soupy, but super fresh crawfish and a tasty homemade roux. Crawfish: Excellent! Tremendous flavor. Perfectly cooked. Some of the best I've ever had. Boudin: Not my favorite, but for what it is they do a darn good job. Shrimp: Taste like they are netted out of the Gulf and delivered to your table.

We started with the upside down chicken Caesar salad with fries. Delicious. Fries could've been hotter but the salad was the star. A meal on its own but i love that red fish so much. So seasoned, beautiful meaty fish, mmm. The service was wonderful and the sweet tea was delicious. I will always come here if I'm in town!

The music playing was very fun and the workers were extremely welcoming. However, given that it's near the river, it would be nice if they considered having outdoor tables, but it doesn't seem like there is much to see either way. We all got various cocktails, and I would highly recommend the lemonade if you really like something sweet. My table and I shared the duck wraps. they were filled with cream cheese jalapeño, and was wrapped in bacon. It was slightly sweet, which I didn't entirely prefer, but it was still very tasty and a unique dish that I would recommend everyone to try. I personally got A Burger and it was much larger than I thought it would be. It was very tasty, but it didn't have much sauce so it was slightly dry. The rest of my table got various seafood dishes, and they had very large portions. They all mentioned how well seasoned everything was. The one caveat of this restaurant was that everything took so long to get to our table. our waitress also didn't come check on us after delivering our food until it was time to pay, which was unfortunate.

We decided to eat here on a recommendation from a family member who use to live in the area. The food did not disappoint. They brought us out some jalapeño hush puppies to munch on with our chicken sausage gumbo. I am not a fan of jalapeños but my husband can't get enough. We both had the chicken sausage gumbo because who comes to Louisiana and doesn't eat gumbo. The roux was dark brown and just the right amount of creamy thickness, chunks of tender chicken and sausage. This gumbo had some okra in it, which I was happy to see because we love okra in our gumbo. I had the fried catfish and the breading nice and crispy and not too thick. I decided to have a baked potato with mine and it was loaded with all the goodies. My husband had the blackened catfish and he said it was as good as any he has ever had and he has had plenty. He ordered the asparagus which was crunchy and crisp. We both split the bread pudding on a recommendation from our server. It was a little too sweet for me but husband really enjoyed his. If you are ever in the area, stop in, you will not be disappointed. Ask for Kaylee as your server. She will take care of you.
