I went here at lunch time and it wasn't that busy. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and got just that. Two pieces of bread with 6 pickles and chicken rolled in buffalo sauce, no lettuce, no tomatoes...nothing. The 15 fries that I got with it were ok but required self seasoning as they were rather bland. I would not recommend this meal but the overall environment was pleasant. read more

The waitress, Sheila, was very nice and very helpful. The service was prompt for a change and our orders were accurate. The drinks were good. The food was OK. The spicy chicken was too crisp for a sandwich and was hard to chew. The onion rings were greasy. The coffee wasn't fresh. We come here once a month or so because it's nearby, but we'd like to see them hire a real cook and do something more with the menu, which is tired. $100 for lunch for 4 is a lot to pay for a mediocre meal. Dinner tonight. My wife ordered fish. Comes with fries and coleslaw. They were out of coleslaw and offered to substitute other items. She chose the side salad. Then we were up charged for it. Server acted like I was an idiot when I said she should not. FYI. There was no substitutes that did not involve an up charge for her to choose. read more

Ranch was curtled. I told the waitress( who was great). She brought us new ranch and it was just as chunky. We though maybe she brought us bleu cheese by mistake. But she assured us it was the ranch. Lady in a blue shirt who worked there spoke with the table across from us about it. Had a small chat about the ranch to which the customer responded "we love the ranch, nice try". Mind you we didn't make a stink about it. Paid our bill and tipped the waitress 20% because she did a great job. We never even spoke to anyone but the waitress. Will never be back. I have frequented many Beef 'O' Brady's over the years based on their consistent good food and service. Unfortunately, the service at this location ruined the consistent track record I had with other locations. I stopped here a couple of late afternoons while visiting family. Like other Beef 'O' Brady's, the food was good and the prices were fair. This Beef 'O' Brady's gets 2 stars based on my experiences at the bar. What is sad is this wasn't an isolated incident. On both occasions we decided to sit at the bar for drinks and food. On both days I decided to eat here, the bar staff were slow and very neglectful. Unbelievably, it appeared that the barmaids boyfriends/friends were sitting at the bar and there was a lot of goofing off. Management obviously doesn't seem to care or even notice the upset customers patronizing at or near the bar area. Initially, I thought one of the boyfriends was the owner based on how much goofing off was going on. But on my second visit, I was told by a nice older customer who said frequented the place, he was simply one of the bartender's boyfriends, names Mark or Mike. I'm amazed the owners would allow their employee's boyfriends to sit at the bar all day like that. For an industry that relies on word-of-mouth, it is sad to see a place be so poorly managed and it really showed. There seemed to be a lot of unhappy patrons. This is NOT what a restaurant owner would want. On the plus-side, the food was good. Once we finally were able to get a 2nd round of drinks and order our food, the kitchen responded and came out quickly. It had a great, just-prepared taste. Kudos to the runners. The young kids were working very hard and definitely outshined the bar staff in attitude and work ethic. Unfortunately, I doubt I will come back on my next visit, which is sad. During my kids football season, this is one our favorite places to go. The location is close to the football field so it's perfect to go to after games. It's sports themed with a game room for the kids once they eat. They have booths, tables and a full bar for the adults. They have a pretty good menu with a traditional American style like burgers, wings, sandwiches and fries as well as pasta entries and their specials. Just moved to town a couple months ago and the food was ok 1st couple times. Since then ugggg. Tried the 2 for $20.00 with hot pretzels and steaks. The standard Costco pretzels were deep fried and greasy, the salt sticked but other than that nasty.... Was getting nervous, how are these guys going to pull off a medium steak? They didn't, shoe leather. I asked for the manager instead of sending them back. She was nice and even though I offered to pay a portion she said no, wished us a good night and asked for us to give them another try sometime. read more

We placed a takeout order for wings and fries and were told it would be 45 minutes. When we arrived to pick up our order, the place was empty making us wonder why there was a 45 minute wait. When we got home, the food tasted like it had been sitting in the takeout containers for a good 30 minutes. We certainly didn't expect takeout wings and fries to be as good as if we had eaten them in the restaurant, but they should have been at least edible when we got them home less than 5 minutes away. We haven't been to a Beef 'O' Brady's in 6 years. Turns out we haven't missed anything. Don't bother ordering a burger here. No matter how you order it cooked you will receive a thin dry flavorless piece of gray. Covering this disk with lettuce, tomato, cheese, sauce and bacon won't help you swallow it. The steak wrap/burrito is a better bet, though the meat there is overcooked, as well. Waitstaff told us the kitchen is paranoid about undercooking anything, so this is the unfortunate result. Straight fries were just so-so, onion rings were the commercial factory made kind. Even the beverages were watery. Only the friendly waitstaff and excellently prepared sweet potato fries saved this place from getting a 2 star review. read more

When we first moved to North Port, we went to Beefs all the time. Unfortunately, through many experiences we started to see variances in the service and the food. Sometimes our wait staff would be on top of things and get our food out to us in a timely manner, other times they would charge us for anything and everything when we asked for things that normally came 'with the meal' and the food would be lukewarm at best. If you say anything to management; they don't care as it is quite apparent in their attitude. Save yourself some time and go to Buffalo Wings and Rings. Overall Beef O'Brady's is a good restaurant if you want a quick meal that is moderately priced. The menu consists of fried foods, but they do have healthy alternatives like salad. The Coke Freestyle machine is an added bonus to their delicious food. I went to Beef's this afternoon with my mother, father, and brother this afternoon and we ordered a chicken philly, steak philly, chicken salad, and mini pretzel bun sliders. The onion rings and fries are frozen and fried, but the curly seasoned fries are still amazing. Our server was extremely friendly and quick. Now for the bad part... The temperature in the side booths of the restaurant was way too hot for anyone to sit comfortably and we weren't the only customers to notice this. There was dust caked onto the fans that blow right above you and possibly onto your food. Being in the food industry for four years I understand these things sometimes go unrecognized, but it leads people to believe there is a dirty kitchen. Which leads to the next problem. The vegetables in my mother's salad were not fresh whatsoever, the cucumbers, tomatoes, and mushrooms were clearly left out to long and began to look dark and extremely unappetizing. The management was friendly and offered another salad and even brought new vegetables to the table which was a good response for the situation. I ordered the chicken philly and as usual it tasted great and i recommend anyone goes to try this or one of their wraps.
