It has some great suasage rolls for snacks. It has a great selection of drinks. It also has an outdoor area that though facing the street feels isolated. They even have board games so you can have a great afternoon drinking and playing. The food is amazingly good and I love the fish and chips. The batter is perfectly crispy most times and the fish is fresh and flavoursome. The chips are thick cut and not too crunchy. The mushy peas are just great. They seem to put some lemon and other herbs that make it taste just amazing. We have also gone here for breakfast and the poached eggs were really good. The best part about the Arnos Arms is the service. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It just makes the experience just so much better. Well done!

Triple chicken was a bit dry, pasta... erm.. okay, free unlimited salad however is kinda good - I was full even before the main arrived. This place gets busy, so expect to wait 30-45 minutes for a table on a Saturday night (who cares though, it's a pub!). They stop serving at 2200 hrs, and the salad bar disappears soon after that.

On the dot our waiter, introduced himself to us and shows us to our table. The menu reads well, offering a good choice without overpowering you or using foodie 'jargon'. For starters, we had Shetland Island Mussels "Marinière" and had Roasted Rump of Lamb & Rib Eye for our main course which, was done as per our request medium rare. The food was truly out of this world and is a "must have" when visiting this place and goes perfectly with Argentina (Pinot Noir). Overall, food and service was excellent. The dining area is floor to celling glass so everyone gets a good view. The service was absolutely abominable. For want of a better word the waiters were 'snooty' and very unobliging. We were a party of five. Myself and three others arrived first. We were asked weather we wanted to sit at the bar or go straight to the table, so we opted to go to the table. The Waiter then proceeded to put the menu's on the table, walk away and never come back. No offer of drinks while we wait, it took me to get up and get a waiter to be served some drinks. When the rest of our party arrived, exactly the same thing happened. After we finally had our drinks we started browsing the menu. The Waiter then appeared again to tell us the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes so we needed to order now! I enquired later as to why you would take a booking for 5 at a time when the kitchen was about to close and the received the response of "most of our patrons order quickly"....... The final nail in the coffin for the evening was the fact that we were offered no choice of desert and then were rudely ushered off the table so they could clear away. We headed down to the bar and an hour later I noticed the same table was still unoccupied. So avoid the Wharf like the plague. The location at Teddington lock is lovely but you will be treated like you're a nuisance, not a paying customer. I hope this review has help steer you off the idea of having dinner at the Wharf.

Leroy is tucked away in the Shoreditch area a couple blocks next to a bus stop. Dining is available indoors exclusively with tables or the kitchen counter. Oddly enough, the dining room was merely 50% full on a Saturday evening... It was even more odd that a handful of staff and customers were visibly sick...as in coughing... Staff were super helpful in providing suggestions and checking up throughout the evening. The restaurant appears to be run by Gen Z. Started off the meal with the devil's eggs which were on the saltier side. I didn't quite get this dish. Moved on to the mussels small plates and it was tasty, although also on the saltier side. The potato bread was decent. The highlight of the meal was the pork collar which was cooked to perfection and the meat was super tender and flavorful. The sauce was on the saltier side... The white asparagus along with the crispy sage were both tasty. Finished off the meal with a chocolate puff pastry and it was decent. Just coming in from Paris, desserts are always a treat. This one was good, just not Paris good. £83 for dinner, including VAT and optional 13.5% service charge.

Their attitude didn't really bother us as we quickly ate and left. Yes, the menu is small. Yes, the dishes were small to medium sized. No, I didn't think they were overpriced. For the quality of food you get, I thought the price was reasonable. We had the beef tartare, quail, mackerel, duck, and bread. Bread came out cold which was off-putting but the rest of the food was delicious.

They fought the tied pub co. and (unsurprisingly) the tied pub co. won. It was a decent enough boozer, with community outreach aspirations, generic beers, fairly unforgettable grub and a regular film night. The medics from the local hospital who occupied it were friendly enough as long as you didn't try and compete in the hardest quiz night in the area. When the previous management were finally (and brutally) removed, they stripped all of 'their' renovations out with them; fixtures, fittings, wall coverings and bar kit. Looking at the reopened bar, the new tenants have done a pretty good job of, well, leaving it in exactly the same condition. The decor and furniture takes stripped back shabby chic to a new level, this one barely one step up from squat party. As Camberwell is the new wherever achingly hip we're supposed to be, they've pitched it perfectly. The beer and wine choices are as pedestrian as before, but the menu has been given a spruce. Loosely defined as the kind of gutsy, hearty pub fare you've seen bothering a thousand kilner jars on a thousand wooden chopping boards before. A muted quinoa and roast vegetable salad was undoubtedly healthy, but as beige a dish in all senses of the word as you could find. As quiet as an unpopular 20 year old's house party and as instantly forgettable. The lack of oomph sadly extended to a woefully under-powered bavette steak, its normally rich and meaty tang entirely missing in action. It was such an under seasoned tasteless piece of meat that it was virtually eclipsed by its side of cold and over cooked chips, god knows what would have happened if it had come with anything as flavoursome as a Bearnaise... The thought is definitely there, burgers and sandwiches are perfectly acceptable and generally it's a fine looking classic pub menu, but it doesn't live up to the promise, which is a shame. That being said, it's a pub, not a restaurant, so if you're looking for a quick bite alongside a couple of drinks with friends then take advantage of their lovely beer garden, an excellent selection of tunes and remind yourself that it's who you're with that really matters.

Nice bar, mixed feelings about the restaurant…read more I've visited several times the bar which was always fun, and the bar food was good. Now we tried the restaurant in the back of the venue. The service was friendly, but slow and inattentive. The Spanish platter as starter was good. They have only two vegetarian options as main dishes, and one was not available. Shame, because the other dish didn't match the description on the menu and was disgusting. The other burgers and steaks were good. It was Friday night and the music was so loud, it was nearly impossible to have a conversation at the table. Something you have to consider, probably worth trying at another day. And regarding the service: when I can try the first bottle of wine, let me test the next one as well and don't pour it on top of the other wine in the glasses.
