While that's bad enough, the real issue for future travelers is the company's troubling lack of transparency. We were told the house was "sold." This isn't something that happens overnight. It leaves you with serious questions: - Did they know the property was on the market when they took our money and confirmed our booking? - Why did they fail to protect our confirmed reservation as a condition of the sale? - When we were left scrambling, why did they refuse to help cover the massive price difference for their other properties, or even make a small exception on a 5-night minimum to help us out? The entire experience felt less like an unfortunate situation and more like a calculated business decision where our family vacation was deemed acceptable collateral damage.My advice to other travelers: Before you book, ask them directly if your property is for sale and what happens if they cancel on you. Because a "confirmed" booking with this company might not mean what you think it does. If you are booking a trip that involves non-refundable flights, I would seriously reconsider.

We stayed in Butte, and Dan drove all the way over to meet us at the hotel in the morning, which was a two hour drive for him. That was just the beginning though! Even though all we were going to see was four properties, Montana is a BIG state! Dan spent his ENTIRE day with us, leading us though the backroads and finding the secluded properties that we were interested in. We spent a full eight hours on the road with Dan, and he catered to our every need, which was significant, with my wife and 3 girls, 7, 5, and 3! At the last house I lost my RayBan sunglasses, but I didn't know it until we were driving away, and he was long gone, and he even turned around and came back to make sure I would be able to get in the house to find them. Thankfully we found them in the grass as it was starting to rain, but he came back! I can't imagine a realtor caring more for potential clients or going more out of his way, as Dan did. We loved his cowboy hat too! It was so great to be out of the horrific state of Commiefornia that we still live in. NOT FOR LONG THOUGH! Unfortunately for Dan, the timing and houses weren't a perfect match at that time, but we did end up finding our home in Montana, but elsewhere a bit later. We cleaned our apartment very well, up to at least Hilton hotels housekeeping standards which I once worked for. And somehow they still "found" 10 hours of "work" they still needed to "clean". I left for two weeks to go home for a bit during summer, only to come back to find our that they thought I had abandoned the apartment and I had three days to find a new place, and they already had my apartment rented out to someone else. Well I find a new place the next day, once I told green tree they then decided I only had 12 hours, not 72 hours as previously told to clean the apartment and leave. Walls and floors are incredibly thin, you will hear everything your neighbors are doing, playing, heck even them walking around sounds like a marching band. And of course yes they will be able to hear everything your doing. If you like your cars suspension don't park here, massive potholes everywhere, parking lot hasn't been worked on for years. Save yourself do not go to these people, they will figure out any underhanded way to get your wallet they can.

Recognizing that AA did not appear to have any alternative flights available for a few days, I contacted Cyndi and asked for her help in finding an alternative route. By the time I landed in LAX, Cyndi had already booked me a flight to Oahu out of an alternative airport the following morning and arranged an overnight stay for me in LA.
