Strong and high in alcohol content is the way I like it. It most resembles a Belgian beer. The pizza is pretty spectacular with enough options to choose from. Lovely thin crust and classically simple... just the way I like it. I think it would be great if they offered beer and cheese pairings with the cheese shop next door or in general.

The lounge is very cool with an open layout and different couches and settings thoughout. I think I was hyped because you had to get tickets and be on "the list". The balcony was perfect for watching the festivities of Riverfire including the helicopter/jet flyovers, boats on the water, and other people below. The bartenders somehow kept up with demand, and at the start, before it got too busy, they were quite the showmen! The only drawback is that since smoking is allowed on the balcony, the servers with food weren't allowed to serve there so we had to dash back inside when we saw food trays going around and then bring some back for our table. Not great. (Maybe it's a local regulation?) Overall though, a fun experience and a very cool venue!

The space isn't massive, and at the time I went there were no free bar stools, so I had my coffee to go. The cafe also sells coffee in bags so you can brew at home. Night trip: I just had to see if the cocktails matched the goodness of the coffee, and it did. My first cocktail was the Bees Knees, and it speaks for itself! It's a gin cocktail that is a bit sweet, really tasty, and has a honeycomb as garnish- what!?!?!?! My second cocktail was the Va Va Gina (Rinehart) and had vodka, lemon curd and lemon juice- also VERY good. The cocktail artist was also very attentive and always checked in on my friend and me. The bartender was immediately friendly and welcoming, even though it was getting busy with the after work crowd, he was still extra attentive. Prices were reasonable for the quality. They also had a number of cans on premises you could take out or enjoy there. Their beer is easier to find in alcohol stores in the region too, so if you've enjoyed some it's worth a visit to the source itself. It's a must visit brewery in Brisbane.

We had this our last stop on our brewery crawl as it's near the main bus depot heading home. It's a gorgeous spot with low ceilings, pleasant lighting, and a great selection of beer. They have beers from around the world and regularly participate in special tappings, but most of what you'll find is from Queensland. This is in the arts area of the city, with many galleries, restaurants, street art, and bars. There's lots of options here for non-beer drinkers too, plus a robust menu of hearty bar foods. I got a tasting paddle, which I thought were large pours for the price. The bartenders were welcoming and quick to serve. They have outdoor seating as well, plus open sides in the hotter months. If you're a beer fan and new to the area, this place is a must-visit. They also have a linked beer store to-go, which also has wine and distilled selections.

Well Ken was the man, years of experience in the plant. Awesome guide. Ok the food with the tour. The XXXX Burger and chips was amazing. Went well with the tour samples at the end also. The XXXX Gold was a table favorite. Oh the Chips, so good crisp and tasty. The food was brought by nice staff to our tasting table, so helpful. The brewery itself so good. It's still the same coffee and wi-fi by day that Room 60 followers have grown to love and there's still ample couches to perch upon as you set up to have a hot date with your laptop. Stopping by on my way to co-working at The Coterie, I loved that they now offer a 4 oz. take-away coffee option. The smaller the better IMO! For those that are peckish there's a small cafe menu of pastries, muffins and the like. Pro Tip; take advantage of this spot before Uni goes back in March!
