I drove by this place on 1626 (close to Brodie) for a long time before I wandered in on my way home from work one day. I found a convenience store with everything that entails and, as the name "Beer Geek" suggests, an amazing array of beer from all over the world. They sell them by the 4-6-12 packs and also singles that are priced from $2.99. AND they have 6-8 taps where one can grab a beer and sit at the counter inside or on the picnic tables outside. If you like dark beers... I highly recommend the Saint Arnold's Pumpkinator or Founders Breakfast Stout... both delicious. They've also got Modelo and a few IPAs. They've got a chalkboard with the current draft list. The drafts are just $4-7. Theres a great burger joint inside the store (Wholly Cow) and a small tots is a perfect thing to enjoy with a draft... There's also one or two food trucks outside as well... so you can order dinner and enjoy a beverage while waiting to take food home or grab dinner and eat it there. A well stocked convenience store. As others have said, HUGE beer selection, and also an aisle of wine. The staff I've interacted with has been friendly. I haven't tried it, but their food smelled great (and in the short while I was in there, 2 doordashers came in for orders). I wanted to post a pile of photos, because I always find it helpful when I can see what convenience items are at my area gas station shops.... so I hope these help someone else :) edit: updated spelling error! read more

I was pleasantly surprised and pleased to see they not only have a wide variety of alcoholic beers to choose from, but they also have a lot of non alcoholic beers as well. The inside of their store is very clean, they have a wide variety of convenience food, soda, drinks & snacks to choose from and I never have to wait in line to pay for gas. read more

Good selection of items, especially beer and wine. Definitely appreciate having them in the neighborhood for quick grabs. They have a little inside tap area and outdoor patio where you can sit and drink beer and a southern seafood food truck outside. Only complaint is that their prices are pretty high, but they are the only place even relatively convenient to the area, so I guess they can get away with it :) read more

I live in the same neighborhood as Beer Geek. My spouse and I go almost once a week for gas, snacks, or random grocery items we forget. The owners are so incredibly nice! If you catch one owner he will give you the best recommendation for a beverage. They have a huge selection of beer and if you don't see what you are looking for they will order it! I went in for marshmallows and they were out the owner said to come back tomorrow and I kid you not they had marshmallows! The inside is very clean. I tried a quesadilla from the food place and it wasn't bad. The liquor store is new and very nice! They are still building up their inventory but have most of the common liquors. read more

The owners are efficient, pleasant, and very helpful. The beer selection is about equal to area grocery stores, which is not a bad thing in the Austin area. The minimart areas of the store are generally well stocked. Convenience store pricing, but not gouging. Decently priced gas. The keys to this place are the convenience, cleanliness, and solid customer service. Solid addition to the area. read more

This convenient store has the best selection of beer I have seen in a long time! They have a canned Rosé that is amazing and its the perfect blend of feminine/truck driver. They also have a stellar selection of root beer for my boyfriend who doesn't drink. I enjoy going in there because the owner Rahim is so nice and helpful. Even though it's a little bit out of my way I will continue to come here because I'm all about supporting HUB's. read more

This place is a not so hidden gem! They do have a huge selection of beer but it is high priced as most convenience store beer is. But the best thing about it is the beer on tap (I think they have 7-8 beers on tap) and the food. They serve Mexican and Pakistani food and have a very righteous, large burger and awesome fries. You can grab a pint and sit outside in the picnic table area on the side. The service is very friendly and the place is very clean as well. read more

Have made this a frequent stop and still discover new beers/breweries each and every visit! I don't leave reviews very often. This place isnt a gas station with beer. Not even close. This place is a beer honey-hole that also happens to sell gas. Are a draft drinker? Check! IPA connoisseur? Leave your ego at the door. You'll get schooled in this place... And I mean that in the best way! Sour beer junkie? You might drop dead when you walk into this place! Options and options and holy $h*t and more options! Best part about it, the ownership. Hands down one of the most approachable, easy-going, yet knowledgeable gentleman your gonna meet. His brother is a great guy as well. I'm telling ya, from someone who used to own a craft-brew-driven restaurant, it takes the commitment of a _ _ _ _ _ _ (fill in with something that's committed as hell)!
