Our seamless steel siding was significantly damaged and they never reported it to us; we heard it hit the house but they left without acknowledgment. They then sent a handyman to our home to assess who cut out a huge chunk of the seamless steel siding, without permission or even attempting to ring our bell to discuss. The total repair estimate is $19,000+ just for the siding. They had to return a second time on the removal day to take out another huge load of debris that the crew had abandoned in our wooded area. They damaged numerous other trees in our yard, as limbs fell freely. There is still one broken limb from another three (3 weeks later) that is hanging precariously, not removed. This was broken from the free-falling limbs. The owner, upon seeing all the damage, immediately said he knew who was responsible and said it was because that person was "LAZY." We didn't hire them for "lazy" we hired them to be expert professionals. There remains a broken limb in a neighboring tree that is now dying and has not been removed. They are refusing to do so. Huston's did open a claim with their insurance but this is still not resolved, weeks later. Huston's has shown no urgency to ensure we are made whole, even knowing we are already looking at *winter* before the siding company can get out to us. Every extra day this takes is extra time our house sits exposed to the elements. They offered no concessions on price of the service and charged our credit card the FULL amount, despite our damage claims not being resolved. We asked them to refund the money until we had been made whole for the damage (and to consider a discount considering the poor level of service, at every turn) and we were ignored. We now know their insurance will not cover all damages. Huston's has started to walk-back their apologies and are alleging the other damage shown below was not their fault or that it does not exist - despite Boone being shown in person and Katie being shown pictures. They are washing their hands of us. See attached vides of dropping without safety rigging and damage to trees in yard.
