They were able to send someone out at 9:00am the next morning. Jake, our technician, was great. He was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problems and identify root cause quickly. The part that failed had been replaced about 10 months ago by another company. What differentiated Jake was that he was able to figure out why the part failed. Rather than replacing the part again, he recommended solutions that would solve the problem. He proposed a number of different option, varying in price. We found Jake to be very technically skilled as he was able to answer our questions with good detail. We learned that he is a trainer for A1 and goes to other sites to teach other technicians. He performed our repair with a high level of quality. We were quite pleased with the result. Our driveway has a side to side slope, requiring a special panel extension on the garage door to accommodate the difference in grade height. We have spoken to other companies about door replacement and many of them have stated that they don't have the expertise to accommodate the special panel. One of the companies recommended we contact a larger garage door service provider and suggested A1. When we asked Jake about the panel, he was able to provide a great explanation for what needed to be done, and shared that A1 had experience in dealing with the situation.
