They were responsive and answered my questions and was able to schedule a tech to come out the next day to give me an estimate. The tech Caleb was friendly and knowledgeable and kept his quote within the price range I was quoted over the phone which is nice. I think their pricing is fair and the work was done quickly and efficiently. If you use a credit card there is a 3.5% service fee but if you cut a check there is no fee. I was offered a discount if I agreed to replace both the broken spring and the spring on my other garage door but I chose to only replace the broken one at this time. I contacted Advanced Garage Doors about my broken garage door spring after my debacle with Ponderosa and verified up front that they had no hidden charges for providing an estimate. Once that was done, they were able to get Logan scheduled to come out in less than two hours to assess the door spring repair work and provide an estimate to replace the 20 year old opener. The overall estimate for both was less than half of what Ponderosa provided, so I hired them. Logan took about 3 hours to complete the work and from all appearances did a great job. Around 7am this morning: spring broke on our garage door. Called them after they opened around 9-ish; they offered to have someone come between 10-11; I wasn't available so we did a 12-2 window instead. They came around 12:30, inspected the door, quoted us a very reasonable price to repair (replacement of both springs as one was broken and the other was intact but quite old), and we gave them teh go-ahead. Our torsion spring on our garage door snapped on Easter Sunday (because, of course). I put out the call via yelp that we needed help, and GTS called AND replied via yelp fastest. We had one door with a broken cable and another with a non functioning motor. The tech at GTS showed up very quickly when promised, assessed quickly, and fixed everything on the spot.
