I was on the Charm Trail, which is why stopped in, but unfortunately they were out of charms when I was there. When I walked in the shop employee was relaxing in a little rocking chair, and she got up to help me right away. For some reason, that added to the shop's charm. The shop smelled AMAZING when I walked in, and added to the homey feel. I did look around a bit, though, so the Charm Trail did what it was supposed to do! Three things kept me from buying something here: I'd already spent more than I'd expected over the two days we were in Florence; I was trying to be quick to get to more Charm Trail locations before they closed, and to head back before it got too dark so we weren't driving through the forest at night; and I was home visiting from Chicago, and didn't need to buy more stuff to fly back with! There were lots of nice gift items here, though, from candles (soy candles and maybe others), to signs/plaques, to large matches, to a really lovely hand-held lantern that holds a candle. I would absolutely visit this store again on another visit to Florence, and would suggest a stop to anyone looking for a gift or some nice, less kitschy souvenirs. My only suggestion would be that they should have a little chalkboard sign where they write what candle they're burning, or whatever makes the place smell so delicious!

They always have great events and the shoppe is FILLED to the brim with amazing products!! You won't leave empty handed. Be sure to follow them on social media because they do giveaways and contests often. My only side notes would be: 1. Real Deals is PACKED with things and (pre COVID) people as well. I found it a little tricky navigating my son's wheelchair through the aisles and crowds. It was definitely not impossible it just took patience. If you or a loved one are in a large, motorized wheelchair it might prove to be a little tricky, but again, not impossible. Real Deals does offer curbside pickup so shopping from home might be more beneficial. Again, follow along on FB where they go live often. 2. Their hours are pretty limited. I believe just Thursday through Saturday. Additional hours are added around the holidays. So check before you shop!

I was enthralled by the absolute delightful decor. As I entered the darling home, the smell of soap wafted in the air. The store is decorated so beautifully with candles, soap, jewelry, vintage glass, garden metal and cottage core, farmhouse, and beach decor. Mari greeted me and was so friendly and helpful. After I chose some gifts to purchase, she offered to gift wrap for me and label the gifts with calligraphy. This will be one of my go to places when I return to this lovely hamlet by the sea.
