We have been using Begonia Brothers for years for all of outdoor landscape. Mulch, (delivering and laying), Flower pot design, tree trimming, outdoor lighting, yard maintenance, sprinkler system setup and maintenance you name it they do it all. My pots this year are AMAZING. Their employees are kind and easy to work with the employees that come out to work on our yard always check in make sure that I am happy with their work and always clean up when they leave. I have been using Begonia Brothers for a long time and they are excellent. On 4/29/25 the repairman fixed my leaking lawn sprinkler system pressure valve breaker (back flow valve) I thought would have to be replaced for at least a thousand dollars if I'd called a plumber. Begonia's employee assured me over the phone he can probably repair it and he fixed it in about fifteen minutes. The employees are always friendly and courteous whenever they come here. read more

What I value most in lawn care service is timeliness and attention to detail. Begonia Brothers goes above and beyond to ensure their customer's satisfaction. Before finding Begonia Brothers our yard was just "meh", we had another company that never took the time to blow grass out of our mulch, and always had long weeds pop up in the most noticeable spaces. Since using them it has consistently looked amazing and we know we can count on them to come at their schedule time week after week (weather permitting). Most recently, they went out of their way to ensure our lawn would be services before putting our home on the market, although it wasn't in the schedule to do so. My husband and I feel truly valued as customers and we look forward to many more years with Begonia Brothers. read more

If I could give Begonia Brothers a 0 rating, I would. This company does not follow through. They have taken our full payment and have not completed the services of taking down the holiday lights. They ask you to fill in a form requesting dates for install+take down, but they do not honor+when the weather was good in January+February, they were no where to be seen. The Begonia Brothers must be in Florida with our money! Poor, Poor Service! I Do Not Recommend! read more

Hubby and I have been going here for our Christmas trees since they opened, and we've always been pleased. Sure, you pay a bit more, but having all the needles on the tree when you take it out after the New Year makes that bit extra worth it. read more

Well, my issue was resolved by the owner after all. 6 days seem like a lot, but if you think about how there was a weekend in between, I was out of the office for a day, and general phone tag that tends to happen because of different people's schedules, it was resolved pretty quickly. While I could delete my original review, I think people would be happier to hear that a company does care enough to resolve an issue a customer may have. read more

Begonia Brothers is absolutely awesome!!! Originally, we ordered brown-dyed mulch and then, at the very last minute, we changed our minds. Even though they had already secured payment and started loading their truck with our mulch, they cancelled the delivery and credited us toward a future purchase of egg rock. Also, they were able to deliver the egg rock the day after we ordered it! It gets even better - when we realized we didn't have enough rock to do the job, they gave us same-day delivery. Add all this to their kindness and professionalism throughout the entire process. read more

My neighbor told me Begonia Brothers has free delivery for orders over a certain size. Not only did my quote for 20 yards of topsoil come with a delivery charge, they were $10 more a yard for top soil than my other quotes. The person on phone wasn't very friendly either. I let them know I'd be going with a competitor. read more

Unfortunately, I can't give more than one star. Employee came to our house to look at landscaping project (taking up our valuable time!) was going to get us a quote with in a week at the latest, that was 3 weeks ago. Hasn't returned voice mail from early last week. Very sad, they are local to Novi. I have heard from several ppl they are disappointing many. read more

Begonia brothers is a company that has no integrity. After using their service for Spring work, sprinklers and lawn service, they billed me for a fall clean-up that they did not perform. I was happy up until the point I challenged this bill. The manager lacked any customer service abilities and he personally offended me during our conversation. I would never do business with this company. There are other companies that provide this type of service that do have integrity and great customer service. read more

I am surprised by the mixed reviews. I had been trying to get my sprinkler system fixed through another company. Out of frustration i called Begonia Bros and Tony came to the rescue. He was fantastic!! Fixed the problem the other company couldn't, cleaned up their mess and was very professional!! Five stars all the way. read more

I was worried about not being able to get on their schedule because when I walked in to their building, they were crazy busy. There were other companies picking up products from them and there were people asking about mulch delivery at the counter. They got to me quickly and were able to get me onto their schedule for the following week. The staff is really friendly and helpful. When they came out and did work in our yard, we weren't home. It was a really great feeling to come home and see how great they made our yard look and the color of the mulch was so vibrant, that it popped against the color of the house. Worst company ever. Insulted my wife and I. Asked for extra man hours then didn't complete the work. There was weeds left all over our flower beds and then crew was here for 3 hours and I had to approve extra hours for no extra work done. I called to complain and was then insulted further and hung up on. No bill for 3 months then was called late in a Friday by two separate people claiming to be the owner who said I owe the money or they would take me to small claims court. I said I would be happy to pay for the small portion of work completed but not the full amount. Owner said I was lying and then said she will take me to court over the $100. Avoid this company at all costs. The other reviews stating they are terrible hit the nail on the head. The owner Anne should lose her business license for accusing customers of lying. Avoid this garbage company and go with someone more reputable! read more

I'm a senior citizen and I needed some yard maintenance work. Begonia Brothers stepped up to help me out. They arrived on time and went right to work on tasks I couldn't physically do by myself. They worked hard accomplishing my needs and then cleaned up after themselves. I really appreciate the professionalism at all levels and their desire to complete the job to my satisfaction. read more

I ordered a mix of top soil and peat moss from Begonia Brothers April 26th 2014. They brought me a mix of compost and peat moss. When I challenged the mistake, they agreed and issued me a credit for the mistake. read more

Ordered mulch delivery from Begonia Brothers. I live less than a 1/2 mile away. Requested morning delivery which was confirmed. Noon rolls around, no delivery. I cleared my schedule to do this mulch and I can't just do it another day. Call Begonia Brothers, it took 5 calls to get through to a live person. They had a "delay" so I am next, but can't guarantee when. Ok, so that could be 20 minutes, an hour, two hours? Why couldn't they at least call if they know they are running behind, so that I could rearrange things. That would be professional. Definitely DO NOT recommend. read more

This is not a business, it is a tax dodging front pretending to be a business. They are not reliable, have no integrity, and the IRS needs to do a very extensive review of the records of these crooks. I have bought rocks, boulders, and flowers, etc from them for years. I paid for landscaping and received the most minimal effort possible. Then the following summer, the weeds have grown over my roses because they did not put a weed barrier down on the landscaping they did. I asked them to come back and fix it, and even offered to pay a reasonable amount. They replied that they let the employee go and would come out and talk to me about it. Appointments were made and the owner/manager never showed up!! Finally, I received a quote which was way over what I should have to pay when they didn't do it right the first time. The office worker was insulting and talked down to me. I am exploring my legal options. I would also like the IRS to do some investigating into the amount of taxes that this so called company has not paid!!! No integrity at all!!! read more

I'm surprised by the poor comments. I've been using Begonia Brothers for the better part of 10 years for landscape maintenance, spring clean ups, mulch, and various planting. They've also done done brick paver repairs for me. I couldn't be happier. The jobs are done well and on time and the price is always reasonable. Maybe it's the residential side that is running smoothly and not the commercial side as it appears most of the complaints are on the commercial side. read more
