SO Let me give you background information first…read more I booked October 28 for November 10, I know almost 2 weeks is short notice, but my husband was having surgery Monday, and the holidays were coming up so we needed pictures. they said absolutely, so I went along with it. they even followed up days later with a text saying 10, on the 10th at the wetlands... this business stood my family up for a photography session. I thought, maybe they are on the wrong side of the park (so I sent them my location) then I thought maybe there was an accident, we stood in the parking lot praying for them in hopes that if they were of any trouble, God would bring them through it. SO Imagine my hurt when I saw the picture on her instagram saying "book a session with us" 6 hours after they stood us up. So I sent them a message, (see attached) and recieved no response. They booked an appointment, They agreed to a time, They let us drive 30 miles from home and then rejected our calls, refused to respond to texts, messages on social media, or emails, and then when they posted hours later about booking your next session she still refused to respond to anyone who contacted her about the issue. I actually waited 4 days for a response before posting this review and they BLOCKED me. When 6-10 family friends tried to reach out to them they responded anxious to book photo shoots, but refuses to get back to us, as a matter of fact... when I reached out to her to try to mend the wound nicely in hopes that she'd extend an apology... she blocked me. . Could you imagine paying for hair and nails, outfits... wasted once your family was waiting and stood up by a "professional" take your money elsewhere. Don't do business with people who stand you up once you've already compensated them right before the holidays with only 1 good review and pays Instagram for advertisements so she has 5,000 followers (my bank refunded my money and I found a PHENOMENAL network of photographers with hearts of gold).

Amateur photos at professional prices. I am a widow, 41 years old. I have taken family pictures…read moreevery year until my husband passed from leukemia in May 2019. After struggling through the last 19 months I decided my family was ready to brave taking family pics. The photographer I have used for years had moved so I went looking for a new photographer, which is how I found Jeni Vincent Photography. I was super excited to get these pictures done. I paid for an hour, got 45 minutes. We went to Calico Basin at Red Rock. It was a gorgeous fall day, the leaves on the trees were bright yellow and stood out beautifully against the Red Rock landscape. None of our pictures captured any of that beauty. We were told to stand in areas where the landscape background was washout greens and whites. I was hopeful of one shot where we stood on a platform between the beautiful yellow trees, but the final product you don't even see the trees we are surrounded by and the background is so overly edited that you can't even make out what we were standing in front of. When I got the final product I immediately reached out to her regarding the pics as everyone with myself in if was at such a poor angle that my double chin looked as if I had no neck. I asked if she could edit that and was told No. I then reached out to my old photographer (who shoots New York fashion week, and miss universe every year) and asked if I could pay him for edit the pics. He told me to send him the worst one. I went into Dropbox and found the worst one. Seconds after receiving it he told me so sorry there is no amount of editing that can or will fix poor lighting and poor angles and that's exactly what happened with my photos. I was advised to reach out to my Jeni and request a refund being professional photos were not what I received. When I emailed Jeni advising her I was not able to get it edited and would like a refund, she responded sighting she does not issue refunds. Then she sighted the money was for the hour she took taking my photos (which was only 45 mins) and then the 3 hours she used to edit them. She then went further to say that she had done additional edits that she normally charges $15 a photo for. Those edits can I just say are just as bad as the originals. So here I am out $250 for professional photos I can't even hang on the wall. Personally speaking, any photographer or artist should stand behind their work. I paid for professional photos, from a professional photographer. A professional photographer would know what angles and lighting to use that flatters all body types, however this photographer is not a professional, but she is charging professional prices... If you want quality photos I suggest you take your business elsewhere to a professional photographer.

When my wife and I were going for the wedding photos I had made a big mistake and we weren't able to get her hair right before the shoot. My wife was not in a happy mood, but Jeni was able to work with us, coach us on how to stand and tilt her head in a way the made the pictures look amazing. Seeing how this day is a once in a lifetime event, I wanted to make sure everything was well documented (since the actual day goes by in a flash). I hired W. Cortez Media based off of their previous wedding videos as well as great competitive rates. It was the BEST decision I could have made! We met beforehand to go over what we wanted the video to represent. They listened to me and answered all my questions. They day before the wedding, they went to the wedding rehearsal as it was in a church and had to follow many church rules. I was very impressed they took the initiative to become prepared for the actual ceremony itself. During the wedding day they worked hard ALL day. Fortunately, W. Cortez Media is not bound by a time limit, as some videographers are in the area. They were with us ALL day, from getting ready all the way to the last dance. They captured every detail imaginable. Even more important, they were FUN to be around! A great surprise was that they used a drone in our video, which gave the video that WOW factor! The video itself (1 min highlight video for social media and full video) was more than I could have imagined. It had my family in tears when they first saw it - including my husband and myself! I am so grateful I hired them for our wedding day, if I didn't I would have REALLY regretted it. As part of the #twitternerds profiles for @SinnerMag we did a photoshoot at Shane O'Neal's…read more(@SONproductions) studio on Monday night. Shane is AWESOME! Funny and engaging and very professional, he seems to be able to adapt to the mood and energy around him and his subjects to create a good time while working hard. He can explain what he needs from you to make the best shot, and then, when you aren't doing it right, will help you to learn, stand, and jut out your chin just so.... without making you feel like an ass. Photography is way more detailed than the average person understands, and Shane has a great way of including you and making you feel a part of it, not just a subject on the other side of his lense. It's as much your work as his, or so it felt to me, and whether in the midst of the single-person shoots or the group shots, he is interactive and moving around and looking for new ways to present something to make you both happy. Fun, serious, theme work; he does it all to make sure there is a wide range of options to choose from to cover all your needs. I am looking forward to seeing what came from that fun shoot on Monday, and I hope to be talking to Shane soon about more work!

I called him multiple times, left messages, texted him and he completely ignored me. He picked up his phone a couple of times, saying, "oh I am driving now, let me get to my desk, look at my schedule and I'll call you back in 20 mins" He didn't call back, nor picked up the phone when I called him later in the day. I ended up loosing my money to groupon credit, which I still haven't used. I worked with so many photographers in Las Vegas and none of them were so unprofessional and flaky. I have no idea how he runs his business! Sharon R. wrote he didn't respond to her messages either, I can see how it is possible. The rest of the reviews were probably written by his friends and should be thoroughly scrutinized by yelp.
