We were lucky enough to get a table. It was busy when we arrived but we were seated quite quickly and had menus in our hands. The service here is super friendly and welcoming. They have a normal menu and a daily specials board. I ordered the Bärlauch Rissotto with fish for my main and it was very nice. We also had a nice bottle of Italian wine. The ingredients were fresh and well cooked. The flavours were intense and did not need anything else added to it. The ambience is quite nice and its not very noisy either. The interior is well done and all the tables had nice white tablecloths on them and so on. Whilst it looks like an upmarket place, the prices are not. I would happily come back here again for a meal. The large schnitzel was fine though nothing outstanding -- a tad thicker than I like, but acceptable. It was accompanied by a generous mound of previously frozen crinkle cut fries or chips. The server offered ketchup or mayo as desired. The meal filled me up, the taste was ordinary but decent, the price point was fair, but nothing set the plate apart from a thousand other restaurants. After dinner I strolled along the River Main for thirty minutes, then it was time to meet the ladies and head for home.

Our waiter was very friendly and our group always likes to have a good time and I think he fed off our vibe and he talked and joked right along with us and we had an amazing experience. The menu is large and they ask that when you order that you do so by the number that accompanies each entree. Drinks came out fast and the food followed shortly after. Everything was fresh and delicious. We did need to flag our waiter back down to get the check, but I truly believe that's the American in us looking to hurry up the dining process as the Europeans relax and enjoy their night out. The waiter brought the check as the bartender brought each of us a free shot!!
