Hands down the BEST dentist, as well as one stop shop dental care! I have been a patient for years (way back to their old office location). Dr. Jimmy is absolutely the most knowledgeable, patient, and thorough dentist. He is very personable and the way he provides care clearly demonstrates how much of his entire heart and soul is invested into his craft. I go to a different hygienist for my cleanings and all have been extremely efficient and very professional. The front desk staff is just as kind and very friendly. This is an office with such a welcoming vibe that also focuses on excellence in care. They also have an oral surgeon and other specialist available within their offices. I have had procedures by Dr. Vendetti who is equally amazing, friendly, and just all around wonderful. As a matter of fact, any and all interactions with any dentists at this practice have been nothing but fantastic. Highly recommend!!! I had a great first experience at smile partners. I am not a huge fan of dentists, but I was long overdue to see one and I booked with smile partners because of their convenient appointment times. I was able to get an appointment at 6:30 PM on a Monday. The dentist was extremely down to earth and very personable. I think his name is Jim. He talked me through next steps and made me feel extremely comfortable, especially after I told him that I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist. He explained to me my options as far as anesthesia, using laughing gas, etc. Overall I had a great first experience. Took off a star because for my next step, I had to book out all the way to January 2027; however, they did say that a hygienist is coming back from maternity leave soon and her books will open up. They put me on a list to be called and noted my appt preferences. Hopefully I can be seen for my next appointment soon! read more

I would have highly recommended Bel Smile Partners with high reviews a couple years ago. I also recommend a lot of friends at the time. Unfortunately Bel Air Smile Partners now feels like a dental franchise. I started out with Dr. Greg years ago, then passed another on to dentist, I got Dr Kelsey she was amazing did a lot of work on me and spent a lot of money out of pocket at the time. I highly recommend Dr. Kelsey. The past year and a half I have been to Bel Air Smile Partners, it has been a new dentist that I have never met before and said they where new,the front staff desk is always new the past 2 years. The hygienist Alisha is absolutely rude and doesn't seem to want to be there and rushed my cleanings the past two times. I had two crowns put on at the end of February by Dr McKenzie. She did a horrible job. I requested to see another dentist but it took me a few months to get an appointment. They had to send me out the second time to match the coloring of the crown in Rosedale. It's taking me at least five appointments back and forth trying to get this crown done. DONT WASTE UR TIME AND MONEY Went for a root canal, the machine printing my crown faulted 10+ times (bad tech)so I sat there forgotten for 3hours till past closing, done and over now 1.5 YEARS LATER root canal HAS TO BE REDONE because it was a BAD ONE and caused A TON of bacteria to grow, could be untreatable bacteria too so might have to pull it- they robbed me of close to a grand, caused more issues, destroyed my tooth read more

Simply put, the staff is phenomenal! My wife always goes to the same dentist every visit. I on the other hand don't mind switching up dentist because they're all amazing. I had an 11:00am appointment on a Saturday and my wait time wasn't long. Check-in was very quick and since I did a pre-checkin online they required no additional paperwork from me. I sat for approx. 5 to 10 mins. before I was brought to the back for a cleaning. Rooms are clean, spacious, and well lit. Chairs are comfortable. There is a television in each room which was on the Beijing Olympics 2022 (Curling) With a perfect score of 20 out of 20 stars, I give this dental office an A+ rating. Smile Partners of Bel Air is a J O K E. If I could leave a 0-star rating, I would. They're constantly canceling appointments, rescheduling them, and then cancelling the make up. I should have had a filling done in March, and they cancelled and rescheduled four times, but after the last cancellation told me they had nothing available to try and re-book. They threaten a $50 cancellation fee for YOU to cancel with less than 48-hours notice, but cancelled my appointment same day, and didn't have another for THREE months. They've also called to ask if I could come in earlier than my scheduled appointment, and when I told them I could attempt to be there early, they told me that if I didn't make the "new" appointment time, then it would be a cancellation, subject to the $50 fee. When I responded and in that case--requested to simply keep the original time, they told me my original appointment was no longer available. This office is a HOT mess. They've done the same thing to my husband and have also screwed up his filling and can't seem to find a time to schedule him to fix it. I've been a patient there for several years (15+), through many different business name changes and re-brands, and it's just continued to drive itself into the ground. Don't let their *shiny new office!* fool you, they can't get it together and will have you perpetually re-scheduling appointments (with the text chain to prove it). This dentist office SHOULD NOT be in business. I was trying to wait it out before having to find somewhere else, but if you're waiting 3-6 months as an EXISTING patient ANYWAY, then what difference might another few months make? read more

I absolutely loved my experience here! 28 year old with severe dental anxiety. I've avoided the dentist for 4 years due to bad experience with another bel air dentist who was nasty and mean. This place is the exact opposite. I had to come here for my first root canal and the girls made me feel so comfortable. They checked in on me and told me how great I was doing. Never once judged or belittled my anxiety. They asked if I could feel anything before drilling away which was very kind and thoughtful. I didn't feel anything the whole time. While I will never look forward to visiting a dentist - these girls rocked it out of the park and I'm very thankful for them!! read more

I had an appointment scheduled for my son and less than a week before the appointment I was texted that his appointment had to be cancelled and to call to reschedule. I called to reschedule and the best they could do was schedule him for an appointment 6 months out for a general cleaning. That means he missed his 6 months cleaning and was pushed to another 6 months out. I made sure to reiterate that the dentistry cancelled the appointment (not me) and the best they could fit him in was another 6 months out.....really?? The excuse was Dentists on vacation and shortage of dental hygienists. Is this normal or just excuses? I find this very frustrating and not customer friendly at all! read more

I've never been treated so badly by a medical facility. After going to them for major work and second opinion. I get a Treatment plan ,finally get a follow up appointment from a cancellation, I wait an hr to get seen for denture fitting to be told by dr Gino it would be better for other dentist there to do extractions....so I've booked 3 appointments into next yr, all out the window because what? Dentists and hygienists are great. The admin staff is relatively nice but most will not charge you correctly. Never have I been told that you must prepay prior to insurance being charged. Additionally they attempted to charge me for services that are covered by my insurance! I only caught this after going through my plan myself. Either there is a shady billing practice occurring at management level or the employees are not trained properly. Then I was told that the Havre de Grace location and the Bel Air location are not the same company...how is this the case if I am directed to see a oral surgeon at the Bel Air location when I go to Havre de Grace? Also why are you charging for a "consult" when another dentist already directed a extraction? There has been a questionable practice with every of my visits. The plus: Friendly staff. Negative: 1st visit I went in complaining of pain, immediately root canal. Almost 4 years later was finally referred to an endodentist which stated there had been an infection under the root canal the entire time, so have to have it redone at the specialist. Was sent back to the office to have the tooth filled back in and was told that it would cost $350. Only thing they offer, 20% off. Oh and for the last 4 years, no one ever documented that I stated I was having pain. read more

I haven't been to this practice due to insurance reasons since Dr. Berg was still there. I have seen Dr. Schall in the past, but was greeted by Dr. Giovanni most recently. After having terrible visits at two other dental practices, I had become anxious and afraid to try another dentist. An emergency infection forced me to make an appointment, and fortunately the practice now takes my insurance. Just getting started, but very pleased with the "welcome back" I received. Had a dental emergency last night. Cracked my tooth right in half, waited until the morning and called around. Bel Air Smile Partners were the only place who could get me in the same day. They were attentive over the phone, very informative and made setting up and account easy! They checked my insure before i even got there so i wouldn't waste my time! They got me in less than 4 hours after i called and I got immediate pain relief. The wait in the waiting room was short, i barely got a glimpse of the Pioneer Woman making brisket before i was called back. The assistants were kind and relatable, it definitely felt welcoming sitting in that chair. X-rays were done in less than two minutes, the dentist was in the room in less than 5. The dentist who saw me was clear, straight to the point, and didn't make me feel bad about the condition of my teeth. I have severe anxiety at the dentist office and felt at ease through my entire appointment. While i was in the chair they scheduled me for my next two appointments. As early as one week from now! Prompt, personable, and professional care. I'm almost excited for my root canal, and to be taken care of in such a great practice. (As excited as anyone can be about a root canal) i would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. read more

Short review: find a different Dentist. The two star rating reflects that the actual dental work that was performed was done well; but the organization of this office is a mess. Billing has been done incorrectly, and was of course in their favor for several hundred dollars. Submission to insurance was done incorrectly and still has not been corrected months later. Both error found by me. Appointment that was scheduled over two months in advance, cancelled a week prior (so obviously not because of an emergency). Reason given when asked was "something came up". Not acceptable! Rescheduled appointment offered for three weeks later. No thanks. My business and dollars will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

I have been turned away by Bel Air Smile Partners twice for a cleaning due to blood pressure spiking. I do have high blood pressure and take medication and monitor it daily. The issue I have is with a dental hygienist who doesn't know how to properly take someone's blood pressure. At one point she almost put the BP cuff on my arm inside out. She kept reading the directions on the side. Also the positioning of your arm will also throw off the reading. she had my arm dangling at my side instead of level with my heart as the directions instruct you to do. You need to better educate your staff!!! read more

Where does one even begin. We were new to the area and thought this place would be better than the dentist we were seeing in Quarryville PA. It was not. We would make an appointment to come in for our daughter's and wait almost 25 mins after the set appointment due to the dentist office being overbooked. This place is either under staffed or unable to keep their books. After requesting an Ortho appt for my daughter, I met with the finance dept. and was told my insurance covered $700 of a $1400 down payment to begin braces for my daughter. For only her upper!! So, $1400 down payment for braces. Plus the $150/mth. Unbelievable. And they wouldn't even negotiate to just up the monthly fee to 175. I was so flabbergasted at this location that I left and am now at a far better children's dentist. My husband did not leave. He just recently had an appointment and was called by Bel Air for a reminder. He informed them he was unable to make it as he was out of state. This was 24 hrs before said appointment. They never took him off the schedule, charged him a $25 missed appointment. A freaking missed appointment fee! It's the principal. After calling to question, the female was incredibly rude. Why should they remove this fee. It's the office rules. So, since we are just one measly little family that is no longer going here, I surely hope that this review reaches more people. The service has deteriorated over the years. When you schedule your next check up, they ask if you want the same hygienist/dentist. Many times the hygienist is not the one I requested and my last visit, they also tried to give me a different dentist as well until I rebelled. I am much more adamant about the dentist, but he comes in, shakes my hand and is back out the door in 2 minutes ... makes me wonder about how much time the other patients get. My biggest complaint is when they charged me the entire outrageous amount UP FRONT for a procedure I had to have claiming that my insurance wouldn't pay it. My insurance DID pay it, but I didn't get much refunded, even though I should have gotten a full refund. read more

Diagnosed me with cavities that didn't exist. Not knowing I had some teeth worked on only to have bad problems afterwards like gums inflamed and bleeding for over two months, rough jagged bonding and a hole left in my tooth. Im going to another dental office to try and ease some of the damage. These teeth are permanently damaged. stay away from this dental office.
