It was when husband requested assistance about reloading supplies and certain caliber bullets that we were met with bored sales people. I understand they are asked the same questions by different people everyday. I understand that they have no control over supply and manufacturing problems, but It doesn't take much to answer in a pleasant tone. Frankly, we weren't the only customers treated in such a manner. On the way out to the parking lot, there were other customers were talking about how rude certain employees had been to them. It is doubtful that husband and I will return.

And that goes for any and all types of business's (in my personal experience). Due to my work, I deal with an array of different people and businesses every single day. And it's just a palpable difference when dealing with the employees at this store. I haven't shopped at any other gun store since discovering this place back in January of this year. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable, and if one of them doesn't know, another one of them will (plus they're just really nice and pleasant people). But... IF they don't know something, they'll say "Let me find out." They get to searching on the computer right away. There is nothing worse than when trying to make a purchase, and going into a business and asking an employee a reasonable question and the employee saying "I don't know". And then usually they stand there looking confused whilst catching flies with their mouth open. Like, "Go find out, little buddy!" Anyway, that doesn't happen at this store. And let's say you see something you like- online; just head to the store and have them special order it for you. Avoid paying the transfer fee. They sold me a Tx22 for the same amount Buds would have if I ordered from there. No brainer. Alas, I don't have everyone's name remembered yet, so I don't want to leave anyone out. But they have taken the initiative to learn mine and say "Ted", like I'm Norm walking into Cheers back in 1987. Except that there are guns- instead of beers (which in my opinion is waaaay cooler premise for a sitcom). Don't let the size of the store fool you - they have an excellent selection that rivals the bigger stores (I think they have a better handgun selection), and what they don't have on the shelves they are willing to order or do a store transfer which takes no time at all. Better yet, they price match! Another huge plus to this place is they have a large, knowledgeable, and dedicated staff. Upon walking in it only takes a few seconds for one of their staff to approach you and ask if you need help. But they do so in a way that doesn't make you feel uncomfortable if you say no - there is no hovering, no pushy questions, no watching you as you work your way across the room. If you do end up talking to one of the staff, they are extremely helpful in getting you what you want, providing recommendations, or just chatting with! It's bright and clean and the prices for shooting are reasonable. Their website indicates $15/month which is less than other ranges in large cities charge for a single session. In addition they offer a Monday evening Bullseye league for only $5. This brings a lot of locals into the shop to shoot and talk and shop. It's nice to be able to meet other shooters, look at their equipment, and exchange info and ideas. It just gives the range an atmosphere that is more than a store. It's a place to go, hangout, and have some fun with others. I hope they keep up these leagues all year and maybe even expand them a little. It's a great way to get people into the shop. The range also offers training and safety classes that range from introductory to advanced which include live fire training. It's nice to have a place where even in winter, you can go for training without having to stand out in the cold or rain. In addition to the range they are a gun store and carry a full line of rifles, pistols, ammo, and other accessories. Their prices seem competitive with others on the area and the salespeople seem eager to help you find or figure out what you are looking for. All in all it's great to have a local indoor range again with new management who work hard to satisfy the customers and promote the shooting sports.
