Their prices were decent with some things but there wasn't an employee in sight, so you can't actually buy anything.

Decent selection if guns, but after waiting back there and two clerks walking by and not asking if we'd like to see something, we left. Maybe we weren't wearing camouflage, so were invisible? Not sure, but simply horrible, non-existent customer service. We've been to other stores and this is by far the worst. Never again. read more

First time skeet shooter. Called ahead, asked what semi auto shotguns they have. Now, I realize they have all my name and info, so I will try to be delicate here. Was told they only sell new guns, nothing used. Still, it was convenient, and lower price for entry level. Visited store. First noticed many nice shirts on way to gun counter, and sparse employees. Noted an unmistakable smell in middle of mens clothing. Picture a stairwell in an inter city parking garage or train station which homeless people do their elimination. Unmistakable. Arrived at gun counter. No employees. Waited 5 minutes. Called the store from cell phone to ask to send an employee. Young man popped up. Very unenthusiastic about making any sale. Anyhow, I selected what I wanted, and I was un enthusiastically given an iPad to fill out the clearance, then sent to the front register to pay $2 for the clearance. On return, was told that the clearance check was backed up, so I left for 1 hour and they called, said all clear. Signed other papers. Bought some shells, too. Gun was taken in back after I signed, broken down, trigger lock added. Boxed. I was not offered chance to look at new gun again once it was boxed. Hmmm. There was another woman (Penny, I think) who was also involved, and hardly talked directly to me, accept to say my clearance was delayed; seemed highly inconvenienced she had to participate in a sale. Checked out, was walked out front door with it. Later that night, assembled it. Discovered that once assembled like it was in the case, appeared clean. Once broken down, filthy inside, lots of powder in the receiver. New gun. Chokes were already installed in the barrels. Maybe a return? Was I given the advertised discount on new shotguns? Probably not. Well, it worked pretty well, not sure why the last guy to shoot it returned it. A bit of rust in the joints on this new gun, that's all. Hard to reload shells in the lower barrel when brake open. Stiff. Put a few hundred shells thru it today. Paid lower than I could have. The store has lots of cool stuff. Prices aren't bad. Just examine everything before you buy, assume you are looking at a re-shelved item. I'd shop there again, and just consider it more of a self serve kind of place. Don't get me wrong, nice store. Some air freshener, and clothing section good to go. read more

It is large, and I was not bothered by customer support (there was no customer support...). They had many things like what I wanted, but not what I wanted, more cotten and not all poly. Clerk was not able to wear a mask correctly. meh. read more

Will no longer shop at Dunham's. Husband tried to purchased an item clearly mark on sale. Item came up at the higher price. Cashier called the manager and will not honor the lower price. Offer a 20% discount in place vs $10 difference. Husband declined. Left the store, came back to find the sales price removed. Retail rule, if an item marked on sale or lower price, customer has the right to purchase the item at the lower price, even if item no longer on sale. Not customer fault that staff failed to removed sale price. read more

The absolute worst prices on guns and ammo in all the land. Everything else on the store, price wise, was average or slightly worse. I'm totally unimpressed. Honestly though, I only went here to check out the guns and ammunition. I was seriously laughing out loud at the handgun prices. The 9mm and 5.56 prices were a touch out of whack, but with tax on top it's a no go. I have no reason to ever go back, unless I need to try something on then order it elsewhere for less. Stopped in here to get a new pair of hiking boots. Found a pair of Merells on display that I wanted to try on. Not only was there no one in the shoes area to help out, but when I walked around the store I only saw one employee. She was checking people out right by the mall entrance and had a few customers in line. I opted to leave. The selection here seems great. Great customer service and the place is huge and clean and has a lot of choices. They have great prices on more expensive sporting brands like Nike and Under Armour. read more

My first impression of the store was not encouraging as there didn't seem to be pricing that was extraordinary, however I decided to give it a second visit. On this visit I did find an Outer's brand segmented brass cleaning rod I was interested in. It was marked "store special" at $12.99 indicating it was marked down from $14.99. As a matter of curiosity, when I got home I did an online search to check comparable prices of the identical product. Direct from Outers the MSRP is $10.95. read more
