These jobs spanned a course of about 2 years from the time I started talking with them to finishing the job. Jessie also did copper work on a downspout and leaderhead, and added a custom iron cresting. The craftsmanship is excellent. The subs he uses are also high quality (I don't think he really employs laborers himself). The timeline is LONG LONG LONG. It took about 1.5 years to get the flat roof actually done. All the while my house was leaking (he patched it but the patch eventually failed), he had the 50% deposit, and I couldn't seem to get it to move any quicker. I also had to pretty much beg him to get the pitched roof complete when it rained in the room every time it rained outside. The start date was pushed and pushed. One thing to note - they are pretty desperate to get paid. There's no invoice and pay 14 days after, even 5 days after. They want the final check sometimes before the work is even complete. This business is running on literally dime in and dime out. With a surprise on work days ('hey, I'm showing up today!') that can catch people off guard to scramble together $10k or whatever that day. I'm not sure I'd use them again. It was just such a long process. I also like Hulsey Roofing but Hulsey is more expensive.
