We have had FRS completely 2 major projects for us this past year and have been happy with both projects. While nothing about French drains or foundation repair is fun, exciting or cheap; we knew we had to get some of this work done to our home due to some minor flooding/cracks in the foundation. After doing some research and asking for bids, we decided to work with FRS since we knew they would do a thorough job and offer a nice warranty for their work. Not to mention how everyone we worked with was super helpful and friendly and they explained lots of things to us in ways that we could understand. When you are going to spend $$$ on something as massive as a french drain and foundation repair, you really want to make sure you have some of the best people to work with and FRS was it for us. Earlier this week, we had Dylan and Sam out at the house so they could work on the side to help us with drainage and repairing the foundation. I really have no idea how this is done, but they managed to do it in just under 3 days and took great care of the yard and our neighbors yard while they were working so they did not make a mess or damage anything. Knowing that these giant house repairs have been completed, I know that our house will be taken care of we won't be experiencing any more damage. We have had a wet basement since we moved into our new built house 12 years ago. The last rain storm produced approximately 25 gallons of water sucked up by my wet/dry vac. First, shout out to Gary and his crew for the work they did on our foundation. We have an old brick home with columns needing to be supported. They were very communicative and professional. I feel much more at ease knowing they completed with such precision. The sale team on the other hand need some work on their communication and processes. While everything that was an issue prior the start of the project did get handled to my satisfaction, the back and forth to make it happen was unnecessarily difficult. Our project turned out to be very disappointing and more expensive than expected. Kevin did an evaluation of our situation and proposed a plan that seemed reasonable. Things quickly went sideways after the first day. Kevin's plan called for four indoor piers which meant digging 3' x 3' holes in our finished basement family room. This soon morphed to five additional holes in one of our bedrooms. As they worked in one of the holes they discovered that the foundation was deeper than anticipated which meant they would need to shore up the holes to protect the integrity of the basement floor and the workers. This led to an alteration of the project whereby they decided not to install indoor piers after all and to limit the project to piers in just one corner of the basement instead of both exposed corners of our walkout basement. Now we were stuck with 9 holes that needed to be concreted over. We will have to replace the flooring in the bedroom and family room - an ADDITIONAL $6,000+ of expense we had not contemplated when we thought we could patch in the four holes in the family room with leftover flooring from the initial installation. The side of the house had what could best be described as five large foxholes in which the crew installed a number of piers. When they finished it did not look as though the repairs had resolved one of the telltale signs of the foundation problem, namely the gaps in the doors. The final issue was that the crew simply refilled the holes that had been dug with no attempt at smoothing out the dirt leaving small piles of rock and dirt to be dealt with. A superintendent came to the house after I raised concerns about the yard and said that they were not responsible for putting the yard back anywhere close to the condition they found it in and that the upcoming rains would help some of the piles compress. Furthermore, he told me that we had good grass on that side of the house so it should fill in the areas that were still dirt and rock covered once the soil recompacted. I later sent him pictures showing our downspouts were not connected to the conduits that move the rain away from our yard. CRICKETS ON THAT ISSUE. As mentioned above, I wondered about the effectiveness of the repair ($20,000 worth of work) and asked that our house be reevaluated so that I can someday assure a future buyer of the property that we identified and rectified the problem. CRICKETS ON THAT ISSUE. I have waited a couple of weeks to post this review hoping they would resolve my concerns. I doubt that I will ever hear from them again. While the sales people and management were very responsive, the actual installers were less than effective after their first attempt. They came back after the initial process to correct some of the drains that were installed and over the last few months I've come to realize that they still didn't put the effort in that they should have. It seemed like after the first scheduled install they came back with a significant crew that was scheduled for an extended time, but yet failed to address some of the drainage counters that I asked to have corrected. I've had it with this company. I removed my last negative review because we were asked to remove it since they came out to "rectify" our situation. HOWEVER, the work they did, once again did not solve the problem. We paid thousands and thousands of dollars 3+ years ago to ensure that our basement does not leak yet here we are! We've had crews out 7,8,9 times in 3 years and they can't seem to fix the problem even though every time they come out they assure us that this time it should work.....well it hasn't and I am beyond fed up! We had Foundation Recovery Systems come out in August after our basement had significant water. After presenting a solution of needing PolyRenewal under our garage. I asked what the process was if that was not the correct solution and was told "look at our reviews - we will take care of you." When the water came back this past fall, I called back and had to wait weeks for someone to contact me. When they did send someone out he told me we were out of luck for the cost of the repairs already done and quoted us another 8,000 for additional work. April 29th, we agreed for them to begin work on leveling our patio. We were rescheduled 4 times, with no work being completed. When they started on the project, the forman told us they could not fix the issues at hand. This was because the forman was not following the process that was sold to us by the salesman. The forman did not bring the tools and materials needed to complete the work as described by the salesman. Once again, we were rescheduled. The forman came back to level the patio, and again not wanting to replace the bad concrete, which is what was sold to us. They rescheduled again for July 31st. After using vacation to for 7/31, I get a call that they are cancelling our project, and will be refunding us of our deposit. Had I known that in advance, I would not have wasted a vacation day. read more

We had been waiting weeks for a repair person to come fix our dehumidifier. He finally came but it quit working again the next day. Now we have to wait 2 more weeks for him to come back. The foreman Greg was great to work with and rearranged some plans to better fit my needs to keep water out of my basement. UPDATE!! Crisis resolved! We called several times on Thursday and left messages because no one was answering the phone. Because of that we ended up calling the service tech that provided the original bid, Trevor. He was just getting back into the office and he assured us he would find out what was going on and provide us an update ASAP. He called back in five minutes and told us that Tyler would call us in the morning to provide a time for him and his crew to arrive at our home to complete the job. Tyler called at 8:45 and estimated that he and his team would arrive around 2pm. He did update us several times throughout the day stating the job they were working on was running behind. They finally arrived around 4pm and the General Manager Colton came to speak with us and apologized for the situation. He inspected the area and told us that Tyler and his crew were one of his best teams and they would get the job done. The team quickly went to work and had everything ready for concrete, but they didn't have enough to finish, he showed us what needed to be done and said he would be back with his team first thing in the morning. Tyler and his team arrived early and completed the job without any further delays. This whole situation could have been avoided with the business providing us updates, after being so invested in FR it was frustrating to be ignored. However, it's done and we'll move on. read more

I hired these guys back in August to fix four areas of my driveway here in Saint Robert, MO that had sunk. In August they were only able to fix two of the areas. They came back today and took care of the other two areas. They did a pretty good job! The area directly in front of the garage had sunk about 3 - 3 1/2 inches. They brought it up at least two inches. This left a a little "lip" of about 1 1/2 inches which was pretty good. This lip will help keep water from some of the heavy rains we get out of my garage. It also makes it easier to get my car and motorcycle in and out of the garage. They have a hard, dirty job and are real professionals. I definitely recommend them and would hire them again if I have any problems in their line of work! read more
