Right from the get-go, our family felt at home when we entered Bell Memorials and Granite Works' front office to see about their services and how they may be able to help us with placing a headstone on our loved one's gravesite. We were welcomed by Jessica, who was exceedingly kind and caring, and she soon introduced us to Edgar, who ultimately worked with us in designing the headstone. If you are in need of a headstone, I highly recommend Bell Memorials and Granite Works. The loss of my beautiful mother was heartbreaking. Taking my father to plan the actual funeral service was a horrible experience. We switched funeral homes and another family member made the plans. I am so glad I found this amazing group of people. I needed a marker for my father and I waited to the last minute because I had no experience in this area and didn't know the process. I spent way too much time on the internet and quickly became overwhelmed and frustrated. I was trying to stay local and looked at several websites and a lot of them were not very good. Bell Memorials had a website that was professional and I filled out a form with my information and was called the next morning by Patricia. She calmed my nerves and explained the process and was upfront with cost and expectations of doing a very fast turnaround. I gave them an idea of what I wanted and they almost got it perfect. I had two little changes and it was taken care of and the end result was more than I could have hoped for and it was delivered to the cemetery a day early!!! October 13, 2017, I contacted Bell Memorials & Granite Works via the internet and was very skeptical as you never know what you're going to get. Well, I could not have been more pleased. I actually called to make sure they were legitimate and Patricia was so helpful and pleasant. Once I submitted my online order, she reviewed it and let me know everything was ok. Unfortunately, the headstone arrived broken (even though it was packaged very securely). Horrified, I took pictures and sent them to Bell Memorials. They were as horrified as I was as this had NEVER happened before. Patricia assured me another headstone would be made and sent ASAP. And true to her word, IT WAS! This time packaged just as secure, the headstone arrived intact and beautiful. Special shout out to Patricia, Sonny, and Zack for their kindness during this time. I emailed several monument places in the area to get quotes on headstones, they emailed me back immediately with general information on headstones and lots of questions in order to give a more precise quote. I received very generic responses from other monument places which was a big difference between the full page response I got from Bell Memorials. The personal service was reason #1 why I chose them to create two headstones for our family, reason #2 was the very competitive quote we received. Many many emails were sent back and forth as I don't live in the area, and the whole process was navigated flawlessly. We were updated all along the way, everything was checked and double checked, and even though I spoke with and dealt with at least 3 people working there they ALL knew what was going on at any given time. Bell Memorials worked with me with a ton of patience and understanding. I was the primary caretaker for my grandmother, and this was the last thing I could do for her, so of course I wanted it to turn out perfect. It took me some time to get things just right --- in all honesty, a ton of time. My experience with the entire staff was a very positive one. I especially appreciated headstone designer (I'm not sure if that's the correct terminology) for his patience and expertise. I was very, very particular with every little detail, and he never once gave the impression that my requests were too much trouble or that the experience was exasperating. This is absolutely the best place to get your stone arrangements done. I went and worked with them on what I wanted on the stone and they would not start on it until I was completely satisfied. You get the best quality for your money no doubt. If you want the very best work done and communication this is the place to go to. They offered me a great price and they even offered me a discount on the original price. I had to wait a little longer then I hoped for but with this epidemic I can't blame them for that. Simply Amazing Company! My grandparents stone was looking so bad. They have been gone for twenty year and reside in the old part of Holy Cross cemetery. Family members said that they would call someone to restore it but it always got put off. Finally, I got the okay to get it done. I called Bell Memorials and finally the stone is beautiful again! Sony took my information and got back to me with an estimate quick. Bad weather plagued the job, but it still was done quicker than anticipated. Zack emailed photos of before and after when finish. My father died in November 2021...since then I have been working to complete his headstone placement where he is at rest in Fresno, CA. Needed to inquire about there services, walked in was greeted by a barking dog that came right towards me. A few minutes went by then I said "Hello" a mans voice replied very rudely and aggressively "I'm on the phone" then I overhear him tell the person on the phone "sorry I was rudely interrupted". One I was very patient, didn't treat him with any disrespect and after several minutes of no customer service and rudeness. I left the building. I will never go into that place of business again. I have a high disregard for businesses who have poor service but even more being rude. They do not deserve anyone's business. read more

I had a most wonderful experience with Bell Memorials and Granite Works. A friend recommended this company for headstone restoration, and I didn't know that there was such a thing. My brother's headstone had been etched by years of hard water and his picture was all but gone.
