I made an appointment not having a clue of what I was looking for or what styles would work best for me. Before arriving, I went through their extensive online inventory and added every dress I thought I might like to my wishlist. Somehow, Amber was able to look at my nearly 50 dress wishlist full of different style dresses and decipher exactly what I wanted when I had no clue. She brought me around and showed me the dresses she thought I would like best. She really listened to everything I said about each detail I liked and didn't like, and then we picked the 6 best to try on first. I tried them all on to be sure, but ultimately, I could not get over the second dress she pulled for me! She was so patient, kind, and helpful! She never once pressured me or tried to sell me on a dress, which was so, so important to me! The dress was perfect for my destination wedding in Mexico! Once I stepped foot into I Do, I was able to quickly and easily find the dress of my dreams! They carry a fantastic selection of gowns and veils. I highly recommend this shop for any local (or even not local!) brides! Even though I was not able to have my mom with me for shopping, they gave me honest advice, and I was able to FaceTime my mom and pick my perfect dress. She then proceeded to talk about what a great experience this was going to be. It wasn't. She had an attitude and nonstop word salad. She had everyone so confused by her contradicting verbiage. She was somewhat condescending, as well. She definitely got several jabs in, but the best one was that she told my daughter how she was so opinionated. YES - it's her wedding gown. She has an opinion. It's almost as if she would go grab the OPPOSITE of whatever my daughter said she liked. She never asked us what we thought and never gave anyone a chance to get a word in at all. I have pics from the day and it looks like my daughter is about to cry. So, if a bride is looking to cry on what is supposed to be a lovely and memorable day - this is your place! My daughter finally just turned around and said "I just want to leave" - and so we did. She also found out later that they had contacted her fiancé to write her a letter and they would give it to her. He did. They didn't. We knew that there was another girl there by the same name. Maybe she got it?? Don't know. Also, they never called her for follow up which they said they would. That's okay though because she never wants to hear from them again.
