So so happy that I went with Krista as my bridal makeup stylist. I'm extremely picky with professional makeup services (I'm very pale and had bad experiences in the past with makeup artists not knowing how to work with pale skin) so I did a ton of research and loved Krista's work. She's very communicative and easy to work with. At my trial, she was super receptive to my requests and created a beautiful look that she duplicated for my wedding. She also super graciously accommodated the final number of bridesmaids who wanted their makeup done and brought her assistant, Jenna, to help on the day of. My bridesmaids were blown away by how great their makeup looked--one of them said her makeup looked even better than her makeup on her own wedding day and one took Krista's information in hopes to book her for her own wedding! I was so impressed with how my makeup looked both in person and on film. It also lasted the entire day and into the night despite me crying (happy tears) all the way through! From my first phone conversation with Krista, I knew she was a great find. The photos of her work got me really hopeful she'd be available for my wedding day, but her personality really sealed the deal. Krista is friendly, professional, and very talented. When I saw the final product at my make up trial, I was so impressed. My make up looked even better than what I envisioned. It was like I did my own make up, but a billion times (!!!) better. I have had my makeup done by Krista, the owner several times over the years and wish she could do my makeup every single day. I recently had my engagement pictures taken and have never felt more beautiful! I trust her 100%! We talk briefly about the look I'm going for & then I say do whatever you think because she knows exactly what will look the best on me based on how tan I am, my hair, eye color, outfit I'm going to wear etc. She is truly amazing and will make you feel so incredibly comfortable with whatever service you're getting. I've never felt so beautiful or supported by an awesome girl gang, then I did on my wedding day. Thank you Krista! She listened during my makeup trial, was super accommodating on the big day and she nailed the looks of not only me, but of my 11 other ladies (bridesmaids, moms, g-mas and flower girls.) I felt like Krista went above and beyond to make sure I was supported and that everything ran smoothly on the big day. There was one point when there were a million people talking to me when I was getting my makeup done and she was able to shoo them all away, so I could have a moment of peace. I don't think she knows how much that moment meant to me, but it was everything. If you're getting married in the Marin / Sonoma / Napa area - def hire Bella Glow Studio for your makeup needs. I'm not one to go out of my way to write a negative review, but I was really disappointed with my experience with Bella Glow. Bella Glow requires that you fully secure and sign for wedding day services BEFORE you can even have a trial, which obviously every bride would want to do before their big day. I signed a contract for myself plus services for 7 additional women, and I completed a trial for solely myself. After my trial, I didn't feel like the quality of the work was worth the financial investment and ultimately wasn't pleased with the end result. Within 24 hours of my trial, I sent notice to Bella Glow letting them know I didn't want to proceed with services. Despite it being more than 6 months in advance, they refused to refund me any part of my deposit, even when I proposed only being refunded the total after the cost of my trial and the artist's transportation. I understand fully what was written in the contract; however, there is absolutely no reason a client should end up out of $870+ dollars when all they received was a non-satisfactory trial. Ultimately, it would have been in good faith to give even a portion of the refund, and despite 6 months of constant follow up, I was not given a dime back. read more

Got the groupon for the facial, but Groupon messed up and essentially cancelled the groupon. Krista was kind enough to still give me the groupon price. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a low maintenance kinda gal. No flashy jewelry, no designer clothes, no expensive shoes. "Bling" is not my middle name! However, I like to pamper myself from time to time with facials and massages. I've been having quite the year in exploring different places. Some good, some great, and one or two that were absolutely yuck! Bella Glow definitely belongs in the "great" category! My facial and massage were absolutely wonderful, relaxing, and the perfect antidote for holiday stress. HUGELY DISAPPOINTED... I was suppose to be getting married this weekend. Due to the Pandemic Krista cannot perform her services. My family is from Canada and we do not know when we will be allowed to have our wedding due to the Canadian border being closed. I asked her for my deposit back that I left to hold the date and to pay for 11 bridesmaids make-up. She told me she cannot give me my money back  because she has a no cancel policy even though she cannot perform the services and, in fact, did cancel. She is the only vendor out of ALL of our vendors to not return deposits during this time. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth. When we have the opportunity to finally have our wedding I would not want to work with someone so greedy. I own a small business and like all businesses during the pandemic we have suffered.  Even her business partner Kendra who does hair returned our deposit without question. Sometimes being a good person and being great to work with is more important than the service itself on your big  day. I just wanted to leave this as a warning for all brides considering working with her at this time. She cancelled no more, no less than me. read more

This has been needed for a long time, I got my lashes done a few months ago by Ashley and ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM SO MUCH. It's been a while since I've gone back because of expenses but as soon as I'm stable to go get my lashes again, I would go to Ashley over anyone there. I got my eyelash extensions done by Ashley and they are so so beautiful! I've had them on for a month now and I still get compliments on them all the time. I told her I wanted a light volume cat eye and that's exactly what she gave me. It's scary getting eyelash extensions because you can't see how they will come out until after but they turned out to be perfect! I will definitely be going back if I ever have a special event or a vacation to go on. I used to not like eyelash extensions but now I want to keep getting them done! Thanks Ashley. read more

Cierra is incredibly sweet, and she does the best brows! She starts off by removing minimal hair, and then going from there. She frequently checks in with you, to make sure she is giving you the brows you want. The studio is very cute and relaxing, and the table that you lay on fit waxing is extremely comfortable! Bella Glow is hands down of the best salons EVER!. I've had a few facials from Krista (which were great) and most recently got a spray tan done by her. I absolutely loved it! The tan looked amazing and is still evenly on after a week later! Krista makes you feel extremely comfortable with everything which is such a bonus.
