I really hate giving reviews like this but I just feel obligated. I'm giving one star just because the location is convenient and the salon is cute and cozy. That's about where my experience stops being good. I just deleted the pages long rant I was going to post because nobody wants to read all that. The bottom line is I paid $200 plus a $40 tip for a full set of lashes with Kaiti (who happens to be the owner). Little to no dialogue about what I wanted, a small business card with care instructions as an after-thought, no products or recommendations, and lashes glued together and placed so far down my lash shaft that my natural lashes were falling out (a lot) within a week. Then when I email a week later to cancel my fill appointment because I'm unhappy with the work that was done, I get no response. A couple days later, I try again to the main shop email asking for confirmation of my appointment cancellation to which I receive an apology for the "confusion" and that my appointment has been cancelled. Not that I was expecting anything in return but at the very least, an apology for me not being satisfied with the work done would have gone a long way. Even if it had been personal preference that made me unhappy, an apology would have put it to rest. The point is I paid considerably more than the standard local rate for a service that was sub-par with no recognition from the owner of a business that I was unsatisfied with their work. I've been seeing Rachael at Primp for a few months now for my lashes and she is AMAZE-BALLS! The location is super cute, modern and gives a very chill laid back vibe. She goes above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and trust me if I can fall asleep during the process she's doing something right ;) Rachael herself is a super chill, down to earth, funny person. Girl can crack some jokes! She makes sure you're satisfied with her work and if you're not she'll correct it until you're happy, that's some great customer service in my eyes. She's also a great makeup artist! She worked for MAC Cosmetics for many years and I remember going up to the counter and getting my makeup done by her. She's very talented all around. I love Primp! I see Kaiti for my brows, and she does a fantastic job -- a true professional! I never thought getting my brows waxed could be a relaxing experience, however she has proved me otherwise. Kaiti is so precise, gentle, and takes her time, therefore they always come out beautiful. I hardly have to fill in my brows anymore, which is awesome, because it saves me so much time getting ready and is THAT much easier in the morning. Plus, Kaiti has shaped and tinted them in a way where they not only look identical now, but they grow in much better than they used to. My daughter got married in June 2017 and Denise and her colleague were the make up artists scheduled at my home on the day of the wedding. Denise was very professional, showed up on time, used good time management with each wedding participant and was very willing to make sure all wedding make up was beautiful.
