I made an appointment after multiples recommendations to come here. I explained the shape and style I was looking for, I asked for short almond tips with a dip. I received medium coffin crooked nails. Now after two days my nails are breaking! I asked multiple times during my appointment if the technician could fix it and use the drill to file the dip power down. They said yes to the drill but never did. At one point I had took the nail file to attempt at fixing my tips but the tech told me she would be fixed. Every single nail tip is crooked and majority have air bubbles! These were suppose to be my wedding nails... absolutely not. The worst experience I had. This was not worth $85, now I have to get them redone before my wedding. NEVER AGAIN read more

I wanted to like Bella Nail and Spa. It was pretty crowded and there was a contact stream of people coming in throughout our time there. My coworker and I walked in a manicure and gel manicure. We were taken pretty quickly considering we were walk-ins. I was about 90% done with my gel manicure and the polish wasnt drying (although it was gel) - it was coming off with the top manicure. The technician recognized and decided to take off the gel. A new technician came in to fix - she drilled the gel off, burned and cut my finger (it didn't bleed, but hurt). I could tell she was annoyed that she had to fix my manicure - not my fault that the polish didn't set. We'll see how long it lasts. read more

Honestly one of the best manicures I've had in years. I stopped getting powder gel for about a year bc everyone kept either making me bleed with the electric filer or rushing. I tried this place based on the reviews here and I'm glad I did. They were nice, gentle, did a great job, and the news was on in the background which was nice bc I kind of needed to just zone out into a tv for a bit. I'll be back! read more

I had the worst experience at this salon. The owner doesn't know how to do acrylic nails. She ended up making my finger nails bleed and didn't even apologize. Throughout the process I kept telling her I wanted coffin shape and it seemed like she didn't know what shape that was. The final result was some nails were longer than others. On top of that I had a wedding later that night. I will post a picture of a "new set of acrylic set" which was $60. I asked her for a refund and she refused and starting blaming everything on me. I recently moved to the area and was excited to find such a highly rated nail salon right here in town. I have been to Bella several times and have mostly had a fine experience. However I feel obligated to share my most recent experience when I acquired a fungal nail infection here - in every single fingernail. Now I have to be on medication for a year to treat it. I called to let them know and they weren't really sure what to do or say. I would suggest you either find another salon, or if you do go here, bring your own tools. read more

Never again! First and last time. When I walked in I was ignored I just wanted a mani/pedi. The woman that did my nails did not care at all. She rushed through my pedicure. Skipped the stone massage, barely let my feet soak in the water before pushing my cuticles back. She used the same paper towel to clean the pedicure area on me! She barely gave me a massage and didn't properly rub in the lotion on my feet so there was dry spots. Not to mention cut my toe nails too short! She got nail polish all over and I even told her how she rushed and that I didn't like it. I don't know how this place got anymore than 1 star, wish I could give it 0. After trying almost every salon in the Pleasantville, Mt. Kisco and Chappaqua area, I've been loyal to Bella for a year now and don't plan on going anywhere else. Almost everyone here is super sweet and do a good job when I go in to get mani/pedi or eyebrows waxed. They are always accommodating when I just pop in and the prices are good. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because once in awhile I get someone who doesnt give the best manicure (the last time I went my fingers hurt from severe cuticle cutting that wasn't necessary in the first place) but I highly recommend this place! read more

First time at this salon and so happy that I found it here on yelp. I was able to enjoy my time here without it smelling like acrylic and harsh chemicals. Linda took care of me right away and she listen to what I wanted and did exactly what I wanted. The prices are reasonable as well. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

My friend and I went there yesterday to get a manicure because our usual place was too busy. We both got the same color and today our nails both have these weird cracks in them. This has never happened to either of us before. Also the lady who did my nails didn't even evenly paint them because I can see where she missed my nail while doing the second coat. So upset with the job they did. First, they tended to a lady who very obviously got there after me so I was told I'd have to wait half an hour. I showed them pictures of what I was looking for and they said they couldn't do any of them. I was disappointed but said whatever. I asked for tips, but they then proceeded with silk extensions. They look horrible. I asked for coffin shape and showed various pictures for examples, and they came out looking like extremely uneven ovals. They're all different shapes and lengths. One of the nails even bends upwards? Extremely poor job. And I did make comments along the way to try to achieve more of what I was looking for but it got me nowhere and I eventually got tired of telling them to change it. Waste of $50. Looks like I'm the only one who didn't have a perfectly wonderful experience here. In fact, it was by far the WORST nail salon experience I've had yet. I don't know my technician's name (but I know it wasn't Vivian, who I actually wish I had). My lady was very rude, rolled her eyes constantly, and seemed completely miserable and annoyed with me the entire time for absolutely no good reason. When I selected a color she told me it was too light. What??? Who says that? I don't remember asking her opinion, I remember coming to get my nails done. So she gave me a pedicure (but made sure to grunt, shake her head, and otherwise let me know how miserable about it she was the whole time.) Really? When we moved on to the nails, that was even worse. She got weird about the fact that I wanted to pick my own color (???) and then ignored me when I told her which one I wanted and kept trying to get me interested in other ones. You would think I was asking for vomit green, but no, just light pink (call me crazy). So then I ask her to clip my nails and she laughs at me and shakes her head b/c she clearly thinks short is ugly. I find myself having to explain why I like them short (like its any business of hers!) Then the owner comes by to look at her work and then talk in another language clearly about me, lots of laughing, dirty looks, etc. And the best part?? There's a sign behind her head which reads: "Lend us a helping hand" and it's all about how the government wants to shut them down because of a few "bad apples" (direct quote). Frankly, my technician was a rotten apple if you ask me. I literally left this salon more stressed than when I came in. (Last time I checked this was supposed to be s relaxing experience).
