He nodded and got to work. I thought it was odd that he did literally 1 coat of polish and sent me on my way. I got to my car and looked at my nails. They were completely see through, the hot pink polish that was previously on my nails was still on my nails and "coated" over. I also check their Facebook menu pricing, it said "full set with shellac polish, $40.00", I was charge $53.00 +tip. I walked back in and politely asked for a color change as I didn't not like the color provided and you could still see my old polish. They told me to take a seat and a lady came and got me. Instead of just using polish remover she complete shaved down my nails, re buffed them, and painted them the pink I had chosen. She proceeded to charge me $24.00 +tip for a color change. The owner/manager could tell I was not happy about this and handed me a $15.00 gift card, I went to use the gift card to pay for the polish change that should have been free since it wasn't done correctly the first time and the owner/manager proceeded to tell me I couldn't use the gift card until the next time I come. I'm screaming mad but am terrible at confrontation and don't want to "be a Karen". Ladies, learn from my mistake. Do NOT go to Diamond Nails in Waterloo. I have gotten my nails done for years and I have never paid almost $100.00 for a full set with pink polish (no designs). Okay rant over, thanks for listening.

Never will I go anywhere else! All of the nail techs are all SO sweet, professional, talented & efficient. They will get my daughter & I in & out within an hour for a dip manicure & pedicure (never have we been there longer than an hour and a half). That used to be one of the most frustrating things about the other nail salons I went to, it would take hours, either waiting or for them to actually do a one color dip manicure, but not here! I got a nice full set manicure along with a pedicure with my toe nails painted black. He didn't judge me or talk about me because it's been a little while since my last pedicure. We had a conversation the whole appointment. The vibes were great I will definitely be coming back if ever in the area!!!!

She literally tore a big chunk of skin out of the side of my toe and caused it to bleed. It hurt and I had to do wound care on it at home afterwards to make sure it wouldn't get infected. So many people feel they need to travel far away to get good microblading or lash enhancements. Nope! These ladies are awesome! First "procedure" I had done with them was getting my eyebrows microbladed. I wasn't the "typical" client for microblading as I already had fairly defined brows but I was tired of spending time filling them in to make them as full as I wanted. Allie took a lot of time initially to set up my brows (something I'm incredibly thankful for seeing as her work would be on my face for up to 2 years) making sure my arch was where I wanted it and my brows began and ended where I preferred. Her insight was both valuable and appreciated. She takes her work very seriously and I was SO happy with how they turned out! Many people think this procedure is painful, it wasn't bad in my opinion. Allie made sure that the numbing cream was in effect before starting and she moved quickly (but precisely) to make sure I wasn't in pain. I've also had a lash lift and tint as well as extensions done by Riley. Riley is as precise and patient as her sister. The lift was beautiful and when I decided to do extensions she was happy to do it. They have added multiple other services with the focus of helping people live healthy lives and look their best doing it! Check them out! You won't be disappointed!
