After researching Goldwell's salon finder and reading the rave reviews, I made an appointment at Bella Sara Salon with Lindsey Zink. That was three years ago and I have never been disappointed! The salon has a super relaxing atmosphere. The owner Jenny and the girls at the front desk are welcoming and very professional. Immediately upon your arrival, they offer a glass of wine, water, coffee or tea. The wine makes for an even more relaxing experience. Before every visit, Lindsey always does a thorough consultation to see if I am happy or in need of a change. A few months ago, I did what every photographer tells you not to do before a photo shoot - drastically change your hair style. Lindsey is always conservative and I trust her implicitly. She was so excited when I showed her the new style I had chosen. She cut off about 6 inches and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new haircut. The photo shoot turned out amazing because the color and highlights are very natural looking and the cut is perfect for my lifestyle and face shape. Since the website has launched, I have received numerous compliments! Lindsey is a color a magician. She sees color like no one else. There's a reason this salon gets such consistent 5-star reviews. Today I received one of the worst haircuts I've ever had at a different salon across town. After leaving that salon (note: I would NOT want them to try and fix it at that point. Yes, it was that bad.) and admittedly shedding some tears I pulled up Google to find the best salon I could. After reading reviews I figured I would give Bella Sara Salon a shot. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Natalie. After explaining my situation she whisked me to the back and went to work. By some miracle, Natalie was able to fix my hair without deviating too far from what my initial vision was. I really cannot thank every single person who was in the salon today enough. I was shown such kindness by the entire staff at Bella Sara Salon that at first, I didn't even realize they were basically closed by how accommodating they were to me. Both Jennie (owner/stylist) and Jenye (stylist) have combined my style tastes with their professional opinion to give me a style that fits my look and active lifestyle. It's clean, it's cool, and it's on point. Jenn the aesthetiton is always on hand to take care of the bushy brows, nose hairs, and whatever else you need plucked or waxed (and it doesn't even hurt!). I've been going to Kayla Clark at this Salon for several years now. She is 5 star Brilliant!!!! This is what I love about her talent, and why I recommend you see her as your hair professional/stylist/artist! For starters I have to say that I am a super finicky and picky hair person. Over my own hair that is, and I am probably not the best of clients to be sure- yet Kayla always gives me great advice and consults with me on products or whatever I may need to get the results I want for my hair. I am one to frequently change my hairstyle from very short bob haircuts to growing my hair to long lengths. Adding to that I change my color a lot and this is where Kayla really shines:) I love that Kayla is so versatile and is up on all the latest styles, being good with both long and short styles! Wonderful! My absolute favorite thing about her is the fact that if I bring her a picture of a hairstyle or cut that I want, she is able to give me the same look that I ask for! Brilliant!!!!! This is my 2nd time being waxed at Bella Sara Salon by Jenn W. (Visit #1 at Bella Sara Salon was via Groupon). She is not only professional, upbeat and energetic, but also extremely knowledgeable in her craft. She uses the best wax, imported from France, and takes care to use various types based on the area she's waxing. For example, the wax she uses has different formula's for the nether region and another for legs. The room has ambient lighting and great music. I used to frequent EWC, but due to location, price, up selling products, lack of free parking at certain locations and inconsistent service, I decided to look elsewhere. If you currently get waxed at EWC (European Wax Center) stop, and make your appointment with Jenn W. @ Bella! Your body will thank you and look its absolute best. Due to her technique, you'll be hair free for a bit longer. She always gets every stubborn hair. So no more ingrown's. Keep up the great work, Jenn W. You are the best! read more

Jen is a gem! I've been seeking a go-to for Brazilian waxes in the Denver area for some time but have been consistently disappointed with services. I found Jen on Groupon and gave it a go. I had to book way in advance (ie tried to book her for months before finding an appointment that worked with my schedule). By the time I was scheduled, my Groupon had expired, I had moved to the next town, and was feeling pretty frustrated...needless to say I didn't expect much out of the experience at this point. The location has a strip mall vibe and is a bit out in the boonies. It is primarily a hair salon and Jen has a room off to the side...and she is incredible!!! This is the first time I haven't had to clean up/tweeze after a Brazilian. She is completely thorough, uses good lighting/tweezers, has that special blue wax, makes it relatively painless, etc. She is well worth the wait and the 40min trek out to see her. Finding a full service hair salon near Arvada West was one of my many priorities, especially one that specializes in good product. I wanted to get the best as I was used to getting from my previous salon. After doing my homework and going for few consultations throughout the area I decided this was the best option for me and my family. The salon is located in the small strip mall and is specious and peaceful. The customer service is superb and Kayla is the best and has been my choice since our first sitting. I love my hair and the different looks that Kayla's creates! My daughter (straight hair to waist) usually gets a simple but great haircut and deep conditioning. I return to the salon every 6-8 weeks and never feel guilty about it because I have a great excuse, my greys! lol... I have fine hair and it's so important to have a hair specialist who understands my needs and concerns. read more

I've gone to Bella Sara for a few different services (trim, Brazilian Blowout, Olaplex, DreamCatcher extensions) over the last year and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the salon and my stylist, Kayla! Each visit I leave so satisfied and feel like I'm more than just a customer. Kayla makes sure I love my hair and always makes me feel like she treats it as she would her own. She has even made my sister feel welcomed when she's accompanied me on my visits. The products she uses are such great quality, I'm never rushed, I'm always offered refreshments (and even got a complimentary paraffin wax hand treatment once), and everyone is so friendly. I have really fine hair and get worried about working with new stylists, but consider myself so lucky to have found this salon and an incredibly stylist since moving to the area. There are TWO wonderful things for me at this salon that keep me coming back: First--have you ever been to a salon where there is an unspoken aura of discontent between the women there? Salons where the air filled with discord can be a truly uncomfortable atmosphere to be in. You won't find this at Bella Sara! The atmosphere is peaceful, professional, and happy. The operators obviously respect and enjoy each other!!! Its a fun and relaxing place to be while having your hair done. Second, I LOVE my stylist Jenye Carrier!!! I've never been less than thrilled with her cuts and her color. I have straight, thin(ish) hair to which she magically provides style and instant volume through the cut alone. With color, she somehow figures out how to provide exact shades to compliment my skin tones. I can't imagine going any place--or to anyone--else. read more

I have followed my stylist, Christina, here to Bella Sara Salon from her prior salon. Christina is the best stylist I've ever had. I'm 32 and have sampled my fair share of stylists around the metro area. I have been wth her going on 5 years now. She listens, suggests, cares deeply for her clients, always makes me feel beautiful, and has never, ever, given me a cut or a style I didn't love completely. And I am picky! She's flexible with her hours and her schedule, and is always there to touch me up. Couldn't say enough about her. Bella Sara is a beautiful, modern, clean salon that is located upstairs in a building off Kipling in Wheatridge. The staff I've met are attentive and friendly and always scheduled and on time. Woohoo! As good as it gets! Is forsure! This is the best salon in the area or anywhere. I walked in for a waxing appointment I bought on living social and walked out a regular hair and waxing customer. I go in weekly to see Kristen for my hair wash and styles. Kristen definitely knows hair. I have thick hair and have every nightmare story in the book from other salons but with Kristen's amazing skills I only trust her with my hair. My brother, son, mother and cousin all now go in to see her! She is absolutely the best! I also now have no need to buy razors thanks to Jennifer who does the waxing! I LOVE Christina! She's absolutely AMAZING! Christina has been doing my hair since 2011 and it hasn't always been easy since I used to use box color. Christina has really worked with me and my difficult hair to lighten it and make sure that I ALWAYS look gorgeous. She goes above and beyond to educate you on what products you should be using to maintain your color, teaches you different techniques on how to style it, and checks up with you a few days later to make sure you still love your color and it still looks amazing. Not only is Christina a fantastic stylist but she's also a genuine, kind, and compassionate person. Not to mention, she makes sure my eyebrows always look perfect! LOVE HER!!!!! read more

I have been seeing Kayla Clark for years and I absolutely adore her! I can not say enough good things about this girl! She cares a tremendous amount about her clients and treats you like family! Her artistic eye is worth the wait to get in to see her! I always go in and tell her to do whatever she wants and I have never left disappointed! This salon is clean, has great overall service and offers coffee, water or wine while you are receiving your services. For waxing: NO AVAILABILITY I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian wax and have called multiple times in months trying to make an appointment. It seems that their person who does waxes only works 1 or 2 days a week for a few hours a day during normal business hours. So if you have a job, don't expect to come here unless you want to take time off to get a wax. A month ago they put me on a "waiting list" to see if anything came up in the morning (7am - 12pm) or any time after 6pm and nobody ever got back to me. Luckily I contacted Groupon and they agreed to refund me for my voucher. Bella Sara, please don't offer Groupons to get more customers if you barely have time to take any new ones. read more

Wow, what a great experience. I brought my mom, who recently finished chemo. Her hair has grown out but is a mess from the effects. Cassandra took her time, asked all the right questions and my mom left looking better than she has in the last 2 years. Cassandra took great care with her, treated her like her own mother and made her feel like a million dollars. Now my hair, is not easy. It is pin straight and without any volume at all. Cassandra not only gave me a cut with wonderful texture, she also did just want I wanted with the color. Jeannie, the owner, was also wonderful, she was sweet, kind and just great with my mom. Best salon in Colorado!* Cut? Color? Hot towels on your face during a shampoo? Cassandra does it all and she is amazing. Bella Sara is a fantastic location for any salon services. Front desk staff is always accommodating, offering drinks from their always stocked mini fridge and making you feel welcome. The salon is always very clean and there is plenty of space for some candid conversation about your unruly neighbors or to gush about your love for the great British baking show. Love it! Jennie Heath has been my stylist for 6+ years now and she is AMAZING! She's awesome with color, very knowledgeable about what will and won't work for you and if you've struggled to find a stylist who can actually do any and all types of "blonde" Jennie is AWESOME! If something comes up and I need to get in but my schedule won't allow me to get in with her, I'm confident that one of her fabulous stylists will do a great job as well! I'm new to the Arvada area and used Yelp to find a local salon. I was SO pleased with the results! Cassie did an amazing job listening to me about my hair needs and making suggestions, I decided to have her do balayage highlights(per her suggestion) instead of traditional highlights. The effect was amazing- the color looks so bright and natural and the grow out is supposed to be way better. She did a wonderful job with the cut- my husband said it's the best haircut I've ever had! The salon had a great atmosphere and Cassie made me feel so comfortable the whole time. I will definitely go back and can't recommend Cassie enough! read more

I searched for a stylist across the metro area for years and thankfully found Carlyn. She has been my stylist for the last 10 years and has done an amazing job on my color and cuts over the years. I've experienced a few horrific hair incidents with other stylists and Carlyn is the only one I trust.
