Love how convenient they are off of the LIE, the new space is fantastic and love how completely kid centric the entire space is. There's video games to distract the kids while they wait, my kids hate that they never wait too long to play them. In the exams there are TV's and sunglasses they offer to each child and every flavor in the world for the toothpaste and flouride treatments. I never feel like I'm pressured to do any unnecessary treatments for my kids and every dental tech there is very knowledgeable, kind and sooooo patient with their charges in the chair no matter how difficult they are being. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the billing department was extremely disappointing. I contacted the office regarding a billing issue and was instructed by the billing manager, Odwin, to contact my insurance company to dispute the charge myself. After spending considerable time on the phone with my insurance provider, I was informed that the problem did not originate with the insurance company, but rather with the office's billing process. What frustrated me most was not only being given incorrect information, but also the way I was treated during the interaction. The billing manager was rude and disrespectful, and after the error was identified, there was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused and no apology. Patients should not have to spend their own time resolving internal billing errors, especially while being treated unprofessionally. While I continue to appreciate the dentists and staff who provide excellent clinical care, my experience with the billing department left me very discouraged. I hope the office addresses these concerns so that other families do not have a similar experience.
