I explained to the young lady that I my eyebrows are very thin. She said she was experience. My eyebrows are very much different and I am beyond mad. I will never visit this place again. I would give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely terrible service I had my face threaded and eyebrows tinted. She missed a bunch of hairs along with over thinning and leaving my eyebrows uneven shaped. She also tinted my eyebrows way darker than my hair color. She continuously caught my skin during the service because she was going too fast. She began doing my sideburns without asking and halfway through she asked me if I wanted them done... I was forced to say yes at that point as she already did one half of my face which I'm sure ended up being an additional charge. Before I checked out she forced me to leave a review. I later found out I was over charged for my services and tried to call about it and was immediately hung up on. Called again and asked for a manager and was again hung up on. AVOID THIS PLACE The lady who did my service and hung up on me multiple times is named Sudy. If you can't avoid this place avoid her. I forgot to mention that she used the same gloves on both my friend and I face during our time there and was seen wearing the same pair of gloves when walking out of her shift for the day. We have no idea how long she was wearing these gloves prior to our visit. This caused my face to extremely break out as partially shown in the pictures below. read more

I wish I could give them minus stars. As an entertainer, I travel to a different city, state or county every weekend. I usually get personal services such as threading, manicure, pedicure and facials done at a local mall, because they are normally good and affordable. I have been to cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas, London, Barcelona, Lisbon just to name a few. I have always been satisfied with the work and the price. I approached Bella Spa and Threading in the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls South Dakota Friday, June 14th. On the outside of the store was a large sign that advertised the discounted prices of the services that I wanted. I asked for a full facial threading, which to people in the threading business is the entire face; It covers your chin, sides, upper lip, neck and eyebrows; literally your entire face. I have been getting full facials for more years than I care to mention and the businesses in the different cities and countries usually charge around the same which is between $35-$65. She never, NOT ONCE, indicated to me that she was charging me separately for each area of my face! Then after she was finished, she asked me if I wanted a facial, which I replied yes. Facial usually costs about $30-$50. I had the time, so I said yes, and she proceeded to make me watch a video about adding facials to your business. I thought that was rather strange because I was the customer; I didn't want to start a facial business, I just wanted one, but I didn't question it. Her work was okay, it wasn't the best work I have had done to my face, nor the worst, but it was okay. When we got to the cash register, she began adding up all the services separately with no discount. I was telling her how confused I was and I have NEVER paid those kinds of prices and if she was going to charge me that, she should have told me the price. She charged me OVER $200, for something that should have been less than $100. I take responsibility for not asking the price prior to allowing her to work on my face. My bad for trusting that this business would honor the discount on their signage. She had the nerve to ask for my number and information so that she could put me on some list and I let her know in no uncertain terms that I would NEVER return! Don't waste your time and money on this place. i don't know if it was just me because I am not from the area, but they should be in jail for robbing me like they did! I went to get eye lashes extensions and lady rushed through the whole appointment. Sure, they were a staff short, and she was very nice. But as I was waiting for my other friend after me, my eye lash extensions were already falling out. I tried showing her as it was laying on my shoulder, but she just did not listen. It has been not even two days, and they are falling out. Would never recommend!! read more

Idk why all these reviews are so bad on here. I've been going here since 2017 and I have no complaints other then prices increasing since then. They do wonderful work, pretty average prices, and I've never had an issue getting an appointment when I walk in. (I've never tried calling for an appointment) I've got the eyelash extensions and they lasted around a month before they started looking a lil rough. Highly recommend if you're not so uptight about customer service. The quality outshines any inconvenience you could have in my opinion. read more

Set up an appointment for lashes and she showed up 15 minutes late. When I needed a fill I called every day for a week and got no response. Was in the mall and thought I'd stop over, the place was closed. I've tried calling every now and then because it's one of two places that does threading in Sioux Falls and she never answers. When she's there she does a good job. However I don't think this could be called a business when she's only there maybe once a month and refuses to answer the phone. read more

If I could give negative starts I would. Went there today for the first time and it was HORRIBLE!! The lady was beyond rude when I asked her to do the cat scratch in one of my eyebrows and said "you would not look pretty" then I had told her multiple times that I DID NOT want my eyebrows thinned out and to just touch them up and she STILL proceeded to thin them out. Not only that after looking at them one side was thinner and she had threaded part of my tail on my eyebrow off so it was also shorter. I called back nicely explaining my regards asking for a refund and the girl on the phone was beyond rude as well. Told me they don't do re funds and she can't do anything unless I show her. So disappointed in my experience and still demeaning a refund this is unacceptable!! read more

I went to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time yesterday at Bella Spa. Before the lady started to thread my under eyebrow I told her that I didn't want my eyebrows to be thin (I had thick eyebrows for years and I liked it that way- I just wanted a slight arch) and she agreed and said she liked thick eyebrows. So I thought that she would make my eyebrows look great because she claimed that she's been doing them since she was little. She asked if she could thread my upper lip and I said sure, I didn't think that she would charge me for it, she should of had told me that it would cost an extra $5. When she was done with my eyebrows and gave me the mirror to look at them, I was horrified. My thick eyebrows were THIN. Super thin. I specifically told her before hand that I didn't want them thin. When I told her they were thin, her coworker said "They're not thin, you're just not used to it so you think that it's thin.". If they think that my eyebrows aren't thin, I wonder what thin eyebrows look like to them. On top of that, the lady also made my eyebrows UNEVEN. I can't even explain how outraged I am. Eyebrows are an important part of the face. If you have thick eyebrows and want to keep them thick then I would NOT recommend going to Bella Spa. They like to shape eyebrows to how they like it. But if you like thin eyebrows then get your brows threaded there. The lady took $4 off of my total because I wasn't happy with my eyebrows. I've heard many eyebrow horror stories and have seen funny memes and videos on social media, but I didn't think that it would ever happen to me. And the one time that I finally want to get my eyebrows done by a "professional" they get jacked up. I've learned a great lesson to never let anyone touch my eyebrows ever again. I can't wait till they full grow back. Ladies just stick to grooming your eyebrows yourself! read more
