I came back here in hopes of finding another quartz in either black or white or a combo of the two. I found another Cambria that I REALLY liked. (I forgot to take a picture of it but it's called Hemsworth; I added a screenshot of it). Unfortunately, we think it will be too much white and wanted a mostly black countertop. Work quality is ok and a little above average. Communication, customer care, and attention to details is none existent. We were told that we required 6 full slabs. We did our own due diligence and estimation and came up with 4 which ended up being more than enough. Our work had a few problems and defects and they never returned a single phone call or text so we ended up getting someone else to fix it. They did call after 2 months to try and schedule something but it was too late. I found Bella Stones via yelp. I really like the look of the Silestone calcetta eternal gold from the pictures on yelp. So I contacted Sarah. A few days later, Juan came to my home to give me an estimate. He mentioned that it was a family business and that they only deal with stones. I was felt comforted by this knowing that this is all they do so they must be good at it. Bella stones is a one stop shop. They do both demo and installation. On Demo day, they took away my existing countertop. Considering the profound impact removing the countertop from the cabinets, there was minimal damage. The drawers became crooked after the demo, but my handyman was able to adjust the drawers so it looks good as new. Adrian and his assistant started putting new wood on the surfaces. Then they started measuring the countertop. Adrian is very articulate. He was able to explain and address my concerns. They did not want me to be without a kitchen for too long so the installation day was 4 days after demo day.I was struck by how polite the workers are. I was very impressed by their workmanship. They cut the big pieces at the warehouse and did fine tune cutting outside our house. They worked hard and I was impressed that even had energy to clean up afterwards. They did both my countertop and backsplash. Some things I noticed about their workmanship: Seams: They are very clever when it comes to the seams (which occurs when they have to put two stones together). They try to make it as inconspicuous as possible by joining the two stones at a point where it is just white with no veins. Also for my backsplash, they put the seam where my outlet. (I have seen photos on the internet when they don't do that. The veins are joined abruptly). Sink: They did a beautiful job undermount for the sink. Plummer: They had a plumber come over a few days to install my new sink. They highly recommend getting a new sink and reinstall the garage disposal and set up. I found some minor things that needed to be fixed. Even though I paid in full already, Adrian stayed over two hours to make sure everything is sparkling clean and beautiful. She was able to show us and tell us the different kinds of stone and their origin. She can sell it for half if we don't need the whole slab. If you are looking for a place to ONLY purchase a piece of quartz and have it cut, I would recommend Bella Stone. They have a GREAT selection of full slabs of quartz and an awesome roller system so you can pull out the slabs and see them in their entirety. The employees are nice, they were easy to work with and their prices are great. Unfortunately that is where the favorable review ends... I would definitely NOT recommend any of the contractors they use for the installation and finish work (backsplash, grout, caulking etc..) were sloppy, not high quality work and I just didn't feel they were skilled in their trade. Its only been 2 months and my grout is already cracking in places, its crooked in other places, and the pencil edge is not straight and does not match up, They gouged my wall in a couple spots and left a random gap in a corner and got grout all over my freshly painted walls in multiple spots in the kitchen and got white caulking all over my freshly painted grey walls in the bathroom and bar area. If I had to describe my experience to anyone I would say it was a MESS! read more

Measurements and depth of quartz are inconsistent, placement was wrong, design or pattern mismatch, which is an important detail that should have been incorporated when installing. Costly mistakes are a difficult fix. My eyesore remains. Hiring Bella Stones was a huge mistake. Workmanship and installation on my job are terrible. Hire with caution. read more
