A hidden gem in Lake Co. for relaxation and fantastic service! I recently had the pleasure of visiting and receiving excellent service from Misa. She did a pedicure for me. From start to finish, the entire experience was truly wonderful. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff. Misa introduced herself and showed me all the colors I could choose from for my pedi. The seating area is not a regular seat like at a nail salon. It felt like a queen's throne! It was wide, cushy, and had enough space to put my purse, phone and items. What really stood out to me was Misa's attention to detail and genuine care for my well-being. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire experience and even provided tips and recommendations. I recently moved to the area so it was helpful to learn about her experience as a mom of a middle schooler and activities through the parks and rec programs. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this spa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. A lot has changed at this spa during the past year. Towards the end of the session, Cherish just sat behind me for several minutes, as if waiting for an enough time to pass so she could decently leave. I asked for her to do a lip wax which barely took a minute within the 45 minute appointment and was surprised to discover she had charged $15 extra to do that. $95 wasn't enough for her 45 minutes. At the checkout is a rather bold sign about leaving a 20 or 25% tip. I think a shirking attitude and greed has taken over this establishment. $110 plus a 20 or 25% tip for a 45 minute appointment with too much down time? Time to find a more positive place. read more

I wanted to treat my wife and mother to a "spoil day" at a spa. I stopped in at Bella Toscana to find it closed. I went on line for over a week and found the website was completely down. I shopped for spa services in Mt Dora and Leesburg. I didn't want to give up on Bella Toscana so I made a special trip to pick up a list of services and prices and schedule an appointment. I was greeted by the owner and she answered my request for services and price list by telling me to go to her website. I informed her that her website had been down for some time and she disagreed. She wrote down her website address on a piece of paper for me. being polite, I didn't want to tell her that I am an IBM executive that has developed digital products for Motorola, IBM and some of the most advanced technologies on the internet...but I did say that this was her website address...that doesn't work. Glibly, she replied that I should go out on the internet and find her "app" or download it form her website. I left and decided she didn't need nor want our business and I scheduled "my girls" into a competitor spa. read more

This was a true hidden gem. It is very peaceful and the staff are wonderful. I had a fantastic pedicure with Kelli who was very personable. She did a great job. My feet and calves look wonderful. If I lived in this area I would make use of the membership for sure!! read more

So me and my girlfriend went in for a couples massage, and it was absolutely perfect! I've been to a couple of massage places and this is the nicest looking spa I have ever been to. Everything was clean and nicely prepared. The masseuse were excellent! They asked what our problem areas our and worked on those as well as providing an amazing massage. I'd recommend going here. I purchased a gift certificate for my mother on December 22, 2015, and gave it to her that Christmas. The gift certificate DID NOT include an expiration date. My mom was very sick for much of 2016 and was not able to use the gift certificate. While visiting my mother in January 2017, she asked me to contact the spa to schedule an appointment. When I did, and I explained my mom's sickness and tried to schedule an appointment for her, I spoke directly with the owner, Donna Wilson, who told me she would not honor the gift certificate because she had changed systems and a year had passed (barely). She said she would not be able to locate it in her system, even though we have a hard copy SIGNED BY DONNA. Very disappointed and feel like Donna stole the $90 I gave her and it's at my mother's health expense. Very not-spa-like! I would not recommend this spa! read more

I decided to try this place since it was very close. I am so glad I did! I wanted a massage- tried the Relaxation - 50 minute one as recommended by the masseuse , Roxanne via phone. The place across from hospital and in between medical offices is gorgeous inside. Luxurious and it smells fabulous ( seriously the bathroom smells amazing !). Talk about setting the tone to relax. Roxanne sat down and discussed the massage, do' s and dont's before we started. No rushing. Very nice, very calming. The massage was wonderful, just deep enough to bust the knots but not too much to be painful. I added the $ 15 foot scrub. Really great. Reason it's not 5 stars- the oil on my skin was a bit thick and as it warmed I didn't love the scent. Roxanne said that was a rare comment but I have a strong sense of smell. After dressed, Roxanne brought me water and sat down, asked for any feedback. I felt very pampered. When I checked out I found that they offered a 20% discount for the first visit. WOW. Great morning. I really enjoyed the experience. I am going back next week for a facial!! read more

Not Impressed Yesterday was my first visit to Bella Toscana. As others have stated, it is a very pretty place. I chose it because I wanted something more than a massage and after checking their website decided their "Stress Relief Experience" sounded perfect, part massage part body wrap. There really wasn't a great deal of consultation regarding the treatment, just right into the massage. The therapist did ask for feedback regarding how much pressure she was using but when asked why she was applying pressure in the way/direction she was she really didn't have a satisfactory explanation. I'm not even sure she knows what a muscle origin is. There also was no consultation regarding the products to be used for the wrap. When I asked if everyone had the same products used on them I was told that the technician has "used these products the most and they have really good detoxifying properties following a massage" That may be true but I never requested a detox experience, nor was that what I was there for. Overall I didn't feel the technician was very knowledgeable about the things she was doing which is NOT relaxing! When checking out I was not asked for feedback on my experience, so I shared most of the above stated concerns and was then told they offer 2 options for the wrap and the other had products in it that I'm allergic to. Why was this not discussed with me by the technician when I asked??? I told them I was leaving feeling more stressed than when I came and was told "Sorry" read more
