We had a choice to make whether we wanted to continue on, meaning a much longer commute and many more hours each day away from our little ones so they could attend the other campus in Monterey park. We made the right decision to stay with Meher. The school went above an beyond to wrap around its impacted families during this crisis. When we were displaced we were even invited into a zoom class room so the kids could stay connected to their classmates. They did not fall behind, and had a loving environment to return to when we came home. We trust their approach to normal misbehavior and conflict between kids, and the kids trust that when they are there their needs are met. The structure is comforting for them and the lessons engaging. We love that the school has a loving and professional approach to child development. We feel there is a real investment in our kids learning how to do things on their own, which we have noticed contributes to their confidence and eagerness to discover and learn. The teaching staff is well versed and continuously learning how to be great teachers. It is not "childcare" it is truly school in a way that sets the kids up for confidence and success. We feel lucky to be part of this community and after looking at other options, are clear this is the right place for our little ones.

This review is for the gym. Mofufus Basketball League is held here on Sunday for the past few years. The old gym is as it sounds, old court and old bleachers. The new gym is as it sounds, new and clean. They run 1 game on the old court and run 2 games on the new courts. Awesome league. Very fun to play in!

Sister Kathleen is an angel who helped us so much during the pandemic. Covid cut our income by a third and the school provided our daughter a scholarship (she is an A student) plus financial aid so she could continue at Ramona. We are so thankful to this school and hope to repay them in the near future for all their kindness. They also work on social issues like bringing attention to human trafficking and clean water. The parents are a good mix of cultures and so are the teachers. All the girls I have spoken to are polite and are encouraged to become ambassadors for the school. Please read!…read more When I went there, all I saw was a perfect example of a money-hungry school that seemed to prioritize its 50+ student jv team and varsity football program over its students in other different programs. It felt like the people who received the most benefits and special treatment were those related to teachers, counselors, or other staff members. Go Bulldogs, I guess. The school seemed more concerned with its public image than with the well-being of its own students. I've seen former students from other graduating classes make similar comments, so my experience doesn't appear to be unique. Maybe life isn't fair, and maybe I was just unlucky enough to attend during the same years as several counselors' and teachers' children. One student even had both of his parents as teachers at different points during his time there. There were multiple students with parents and staff,even one counselor and teacher both had two children attending the school. Looking back, it felt like there was one set of rules and opportunities for students connected to staff and another for everyone else.
