She explained all the findings of the tests the day prior and explained options of medication for my dog. The ER wanted me to put her down right then and there, stating she would not make it through the night. Here we are a day later, and my dog is still here. Dr. Sara found issues that a previous vet should have found, and now that everything has been noted, we are taking a path of medication with hopes that the dog can have some more time in her life. I am so grateful that I did not listen to the ER staff and put her down. I went with my heart, which told me that it was not the time to do that!

I was ask to put a deposit down due to many cancellations or no shows, which I did. Since, I didn't want the puppies to wait so long between their vaccinations, I called my vet this morning. They are able to get us on next week. I called this morning to cancel the appointment and was told it may be too late to get my deposit back. Then I was told it would be given to the manager and may take some time to process. I have called a full 2months before their appointment and expect my refund. After this I would not recommend them, not if they treat new patients this way. Puppies can't wait 2 months between vaccines.

She came out for a free consultation and after speaking with her, we decided to send Ziggy to her house for 2 weeks and then have follow up lessons. It was worth every single penny. Jillian offers payment plans, too! Jillian's training has been a god send for us. Ziggy listens to commands, follows direction and we have a completely new dog in our home. We no longer have to be afraid to walk her when other people are out, we don't have to crate her for guests to come over and our lives are much less stressed. He was very inconsistent in following commands and we were always scared he would dart out the door to chase the rabbits in our yard. We were never able to bring Kane out with us for fear that he would attack someone. We were resigned to the fact that our dog was just always going to be like this. All of those worries are now totally behind us. Kane is a totally different dog. He is eager to follow commands and is no longer aggressive towards dogs or people. Last night he was in our yard with 4 kids petting him and he calmly sat in the grass and enjoyed the love. The transformation has been incredible and everyone who sees the progress Kane has made has the same jaw dropping reaction. It is unbelievable and such a dream to have Kane reach his potential like this. Jillian is kind and incredibly professional. She does everything she can to help you and your dog be successful. We drove from Buffalo, NY to get a CT scan for our dog, since the waiting lists in Buffalo, and the prices, were astronomical. From my first phone call with Rye, I knew they were good hearted people who are in animal care for the right reasons. Every person I spoke to on the phone was SO kind, thoughtful, and understanding. It was very easy to get through to schedule, no run around. They were able to schedule us a week out (which was quick compared to what I'd found), but since it was urgent, I was put on a waiting list and they called me back to get me in two days later. I drove down with my dog and stayed overnight in a hotel and then went to rye first thing in the morning. We had a consult with the Dr (who was amazing) and left our dog Rocko for the day for his scans. They called me just over an hour later that he was finished already! He is 12, so sedation scares me, but they did not over sedate him and he was jumping around (and making quite the ruckus for them ) when we came to pick him up. The doctors and staff are AMAZING. They have also sent his reports over to multiple referrals for us, which I know can be time consuming, but have never once made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. The only issue I have with this place, is that every other Vet isn't just like them! THANK YOU to the team at Animal Hospital of Rye. For making a very tough situation, so much easier for us.
