I booked this several months before coming back to lake como. I carefully chose their service as I was satisfied with the list of sites that they indicated when I messaged them prior to my booking. We hopped in the boat all 7 of us. The captain and owner was silent, no introduction at all and no word on where we're sailing. I went through with it to see how it unfolds. No mention of mansions, small towns or anything. It was a clear sunny day I believe in the high 80's to 90s weather. It was dead silent, I asked to play some music to lighten the mood. This was my second time in como so I know he is stirring us in the direction of Lecco. My friend's husband finally talked to the skipper to have a conversation, and that's how I finally knew his name was Federico. He gave us a bottle of Prosecco and some bread.We went in circles and finally the 2 hours was up. I messaged him the next day to asked how come we never visited any sites. He replied, it was the WEATHER that he had to stir us through LECCO. It was a sunny day with clear skies and a nice breeze. He also never mentioned this during, before or after the fact. For me you are the captain, you need to orient the passengers about what's happening or at least introduce yourself(customer service/safety?). Also, there was a trip before us, a couple with their dog, they came from the intended direction of the trip which was from the Bellagio side.Secondly, I received an email stating i'am being refunded $54 (the whole trip was around $631). I never asked for this and yet he reports that I want a freebie. All of us are hardworking people. We saved up for this trip. I don't care about the money and I never asked for any refunds.He can keep it, as a matter of fact I asked viator to refund him but they said it ' was already sent. Third, he said I was enjoying and smiling. So why did I felt something was wrong and was silent in the first place? Why did I sent you a message after the trip if I was satisfied? I hate to say this but I think he cut corners thinking we would never figure it out. I felt discriminated, all of us are Asians in our group. I hate to bring this up but That's how I felt. This is about principle and integrity. Please beware! He said these are lies, look at the Professionalism! The issues raised was never addressed.He even said something about evil or trying to destroy his business. Please be accountable with your actions. You were the one who did it to your business the minute you decided to deviate from the standards, expecting the same results. read more
