We are extremely happy with the results and wanted to recognize the wonderful team that worked on our home. A special thank you to Dan Pearce who was in charge of the entire operation. Whenever we needed to contact Dan, he was always there for us. He always answered the phone, followed through on everything he promised, and was true to his word from the very beginning. That kind of reliability means a lot when you are having major work done in your home. We would also like to recognize Anthony, who somehow managed to fit into the smallest spaces, along with is Helper David and also Fred, PJ, and especially Dan Pearce and Kate. The entire crew was professional, courteous, hardworking, and very clean throughout the project. We all got along great, and they made a stressful situation much easier. The inspectors came out and approved both the plumbing and drywall work, which gave us even more peace of mind. We truly appreciate the excellent work and highly recommend Tom Wall Plumbing Contractor to anyone needing repiping or plumbing work done.

Moore's Sand & Septic - His response to my request for his words in writing. Very questionable.

Communication was clear. Scheduling was easy. The team was friendly and professional. Billy and Charles handled the work. They arrived on time. They explained the process clearly. They worked efficiently and with care. You could tell they take pride in doing the job right. This company stands behind their work. That matters. It shows honesty and accountability, which is hard to find. They have earned our loyalty. We highly recommend Moore's Sand and Septic, Inc. to anyone looking for reliable and professional septic services.

On the second service call, after they fixed the issue, I firmly believed the issue had been caused by their error in relation to the first call. They charged me over $200, so I questioned the reason in that I felt their original installation caused the issue; it had been less than a year, and the piece that fell off wasn't secured properly. BJ refused to accommodate, stating it wasn't his fault although he had placed the pump in the tank. I disagreed and stated that if the part had been secured correctly, it would not have fallen off. I yielded and paid Moore's. Now, today....11/20/2025 I have an issue with the tank once again. It's been a while, but I call Moore's Sand and Septic because I like them. BJ called me back shortly after I made the new appointment to tell me he refuses to come to my house because I upset his driver when I questioned the past service and why it cost me over $200 for them to screw a bolt on that they didn't tighten. It seems I hurt his feelings because, as a consumer and a customer, I questioned why I was being charged. He said, "Your wife was rude to my driver." She was not rude. One would think that, being in a public business, you could respond as an adult. Apparently not. You can use them, but I'd think twice about ever calling them for anything.

First, I want to recognize Matt, the technician who came to my home. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous throughout the visit. He took the time to answer my questions and shared valuable information about water treatment systems and installation considerations. He also mentioned that when these units are shipped and transported on their sides, it can sometimes create issues depending on the equipment and how long it remained in that position. I appreciated his expertise and his willingness to educate me on the project. My concern is not with Matt, but with the company's communication regarding fees. During my Yelp communications, I was advised that this would be a free estimate. Based on that representation, I scheduled the appointment. Matt reviewed the project and provided a quote of approximately $2,700. After obtaining several other quotes in the $400 to $550 range, I decided to move forward with another installer. Only after I informed Matt that I would not be proceeding with David Gray was I advised of a $49 service charge. At no point during the Yelp conversation, scheduling process, or prior to the appointment was I informed that there would be a charge associated with the estimate. Had I known about this fee in advance, I would not have scheduled the appointment. What made the situation more frustrating was that after declining the work, I received an invoice via email for the $49 charge, despite my understanding, based on the Yelp messages, that the estimate was free. This came as a complete surprise, as no fee had been disclosed or discussed beforehand. I believe companies should be transparent about any service-call, trip, diagnostic, or estimate fees before scheduling appointments so customers can make informed decisions. Again, Matt was excellent and represented the company professionally. My review reflects concerns with the company's communication and billing practices, not the quality of service provided by the technician. I would encourage future customers to confirm in writing whether any charges apply to estimates or site visits before scheduling an appointment.
