It's hit or miss with the prices, but more often than not, it's on the higher end (for my budget at least). However, with that being said, the style is priceless! There's TONS to choose from and something for everyone. They have items ranging from children's to men's to women's (mostly furniture, but also decor). They also have materials to DIY, such as antique paint, iron hooks, window frames, shutters, and all sorts of neat little things to make your house a unique home. They have a sister store adjacent to it, which I would only suggest to those looking to spend some serious $$$. It's higher-end rustic and shabby. Either way, there's bound to be something here for you. We left with a small & simple Victorian styled chaise, as well as a writing desk in the same style. We also found a handcrafted sitting statue of a fox in clothes - and only for $6. Like I said, it's pretty hit or miss with prices on certain items. I've shopped here many times and I love the pieces and styles sold at this store. They're very original, and the rotating inventory makes it fun every time. Unfortunately, this last time I shopped, I placed a second hold on an item and was told the person before me's hold would expire at one. I called at 12:50, she had not shown up, but was on her way. I called at 1:30 and was told the same thing. I called at 1:50 and she was buying the item. I am extremely disappointed with how the holds were handled. In any other store, the hold would have passed to me at 1, but Belle Patri extended the other hold despite having numerous "bids" on the item. Will have to think carefully about going back. read more

I. LOVE. THIS. SHOP The owner was very friendly and just peachy! :) She has does a tremendous job with putting everything together so nicely. It has two stories and lots of character. You are guaranteed to find something to take home with you, especially if you love shabby chic, vintage, french provincial etc.. On the day I "discovered" this place, she was having an "open house or grand opening?" of sort. She had bottled water, fruit, cheese, crackers, salami, popcorn.... it was lovely. My kids loved it too, not only for the tummy treats, but she has a "play room", which is such a nice touch. Makes the shopping experience that much more. Have had only weird experiences here. It's very on trend, with signs that say "Family" and "Live Laugh Love", all of that stuff. Not really my bag, but a lot of people like that. There are some nice pieces of furniture mixed in, you have to hunt around here. Today though, from the moment we walked in, we were looked up and down by a woman who just seemed curt and hateful for no reason. My husband and I were better-dressed having come from Ladew, so it couldn't have been that. We looked around and I asked if they had any pineapple items aside from the ones I was standing near. "No" was all she said. Okay... Then we found a lamp we liked, and asked if we could test it. She took it to an outlet to test it, it appeared to work, so we bought it. (She ignored me when I said we were ready to buy, and the lamp turned out to be totally buggy and inconsistent when we got it home, but that's another matter.) Instead of wrapping the lamp shade, she put the shade in a square of bubble wrap and acted like she was done the transaction. After my husband asked if she was done, she taped the wrap to the shade like she was annoyed. We were two of three customers on a Monday afternoon, so please don't act like we're bothering you by spending money at your store. I probably won't be back here after this. read more

I have both bought and consigned many times with Belle Patri in the past few years. I bought a chandelier that was one of their new items and not used earlier this year. When I bought the light there was no instructions with it. My husband installed the light and after a couple of months one of the candle type light bulbs kept flickering. We changed bulbs which did not fix the problem. My husband ended up taking the one socket apart to replace it. He could not find a replacement. I called Belle Patri and spoke with Becky who is the manager. She told me at that time that I was supposed to get a light installation kit and instructions when I bought the light and they were kept behind the counter. She said they were having a problem with "the girls" not knowing to give them to customers when they bought a new light. She said she would see if she could get me a replacement from their vendor. After a few days I hadn't heard anything so I called the store. I was told that they buy all of their new merchandise at the beginning of the year in January and it's very hard to return it. She said she would email the vendor again. A few more days went by and I received an email telling me that they would not replace the light and that they have a no return policy on anything. On anything!! So I can buy a brand new hanging light for $300 and I have literally no recourse when it turns out to be a piece of cheap crap with aluminum wiring and is arcing. I will never step foot in this store again. When a business cannot stand behind their merchandise at all that tells me that they are selling inferior merchandise and they know it. So I have a light that I spent $300 on and cannot even use it. Save yourself the money and go buy your housewares and decor at a reputable business. read more
