The owner (I assume she was the owner) looked them over while I looked around the store. When I went back up to the front, all she said was, "I'll pass." I was a bit surprised, so I said, "Can I ask why?" She said, "They have a strong dry cleaning smell, so maybe if you put them in the backyard or something." (I smelled them again and I honestly don't smell anything, but whatever.) I said, "Okay, so if I do that... is there anything here you'd take? Because I don't want to do all of that and lug everything back and you're just not interested." She very curtly said, "I don't know, I didn't really look." No smile, no "thanks for coming in." (Her associate who was working there was nice.) The whole time, she was just very curt and abrasive with me. And even though I was there to try to sell clothes, if she had treated me like that if I had walked in there to buy clothes, I would have NEVER bought anything from her.
