During COVID19 they are accommodating customers by wearing masks and offering curbside pick up and walking out orders to people in their car while they're wearing masks. Unless you have something against fried foods I highly recommend supporting this local service group. The VFW building sits on a large grassy lot with many old oak trees providing wonderful shade and recreational opportunities to picnic, play horseshoes, enjoy a fire in the fire pit, or enjoy the cool breezes in the shade.

Affordable camping with two very clean shower houses, fishing, archery ranges, two pavilions and a clubhouse to rent for occasions. Playgrounds for the kids and grandkids, affordable camper storage for members, and a nice walking trail with a mysterious hidden spring in the woods. We bring our kayaks down sometimes and paddle around the big lake. It's a really nice club to be a part of.

They keep most of their furniture outside because the store is rather small. So at any time of day, you can drive by really slow and see what they have sitting outside. I usually see a few couches, tables, chairs, bed frames... and since I'm always looking for wooden furniture to refinish- it's a gold mine! As for the clothing selection, it seems like an average thrift store type of selection. And the parking lot can be rather challenging. It's small, gravel, and on Saturdays can get tricky to park in it. But as I said - gold mine for fresh selections of furniture every few days and fun knick knacks. Plus the proceeds go to support Camp Wartburg (an awesome Christian Camp for kiddos). I love bringing my donations here too.
