My grandson has been going to Ernie Pyle for several years now. He has been mistreated in every sense, from IEP to Education and now band. What is wrong with this place? I have lived in Bellflower for over 40 years and my three sons went to school here. If Ernie Pyle does not get it together I am going to have to go to state board of education. IEP classes were scheduled but never completed. No one showed up to work with my grandson. Principle stated she would look into it but never did anything. Now year is ending and my grandson is suppose to be in band concert and was informed he will not because he can't be still. He has Attention Deficit. A lot of kids have it. When my daughter in law went up to school they said. Yes he can be in the concert but this is the only shirt we have for him. Really you purchase shirts for all the kids but mine. I get some teachers left over. Not a good school.

OMG I've seen the reviews on here and some of them are not true. this middle school is one big…read moreschool with a lot of great people even though your skin color is different we still have to be accepted equally no matter our religion our stile and the way we speak. I've met some really great people at this school who helped me find my way here and I appreciate that. the teachers are nice they help you out when there is a problem that you cannot solve. they support you they want you to pass but sometimes trying to be the popular kid takes us away from those opportunities it changes us trying to be cool but there is another path to this school the path of success and I am going to walk that path till I reach the end and I hope you walk it to.

Great school I went here for one year a lot Of good teachers…read morea couple creepy staff as well, you may get you meet when you befriend them and make them talk about themselfs my siblings come here all 4 played football ball when my first 2 came they were in varsity and JR both got a lot of player time and each especially my heavier brother going onto 2023-2024-25 my brother played and the coach seems a bit more in the favoritism did both his sons play some are young and are freshmen who play varsity, they may qualify but I see he has more of a favoritism towards a dna and anyone mans crouch he has shown favoritism between the young men and has despite Asians Mexicans and Hindus who aren't always to him

My son is graduating from Bosco in a few days and this has been a great school. Beautiful looking…read morecampus and a wonderful administration who really seem to care. He and I were not sure if he would be attending St John Bosco due to the tuition cost, although I had him take the entrance exam in December of his 8th grade year just to see how he would do. He scored high on the exam and with his exam score and references from his current and past teachers at the school he was then attending, he ended up being warded a $15,000 academic scholarship to Bosco. That helped lower the tuition cost by approximately $300 per month throughout his four years. His scholarship was possible due to a previous student from several years back who had given the money to the school so that it would be used as an academic scholarship. It seems that this was not unusual because I found that many prior students would "give back" to Bosco. That in itself says how much they loved their school. Also, many of the teachers are prior St John Bosco graduates and they really do care about their students. Like many other private schools the parents do need to do so many hours of volunteer time at the school or they can chose to just "payout" their hours. It is only 15 hours a year which was no problem for me even as a single mom. There are also four parent meetings per year which are mandatory. I liked the fact that it is an all boys school which gets together frequently with the sister school, St. Josephs in Lakewood which is an all girls school, for different functions. I feel that it being an all boys school keeps the students focused more on their studies. Non of the students that I knew of seemed to miss the fact that there were no girls in the classroom. If a Catholic education is something you desire for your child, but you feel you cannot afford tuition cost, please talk to someone at the school to see if there is a way to possibly make it more affordable. I have learned throughout the years that there is much help out there, as far as Catholic education, if you just ask.

I finally won a $2000 Pulltab but then went back and lost $600 it's like a lottery but I love bingo…read morethere going back soon and will definitely leave a winner! Positive Vibes.. it takes money to make money!
