I am so, so grateful for the entire team's hard work. From the moment I called for the initial estimate, every person I interacted with was exceedingly courteous, professional, patient, prompt, friendly, helpful, efficient, and gracious. Shout out to Kenneth, Emma, and Rodney from the moving team, and Jacob, Christian, and Chelsea on the customer service team. Y'all were fantastic. This move was unexpected and pretty emotional for me. I am usually a very independent, hands-on person who's always the first to volunteer to help others with their moves. I knew I couldn't do this one on my own, and I made the decision to hire movers for the first time in my life. I've been dealing with a recent disability that affects the use of my hands and arms, and it was very tough for me having to stand by, not being able to jump in and help with any of the heavy lifting. Once I saw the team in action, it was clear they didn't need my help. Their coordinated effort was really wonderful to see. They communicated well with each other and with me throughout the entire move. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to load and securely pack the truck. And they arrived early! Even when faced with a seemingly-unconquerable freak mishap with the truck at the second location, the team sprang into problem-solving mode and found a way. I'm sure that hauling all my stuff up a steep driveway, in the rain and 100% humidity, during the hottest part of the day in the hottest month of the year, and then up even more stairs inside, made them feel like they were literally going an extra mile, but they never made it seem like it was an extra burden. There's no way I could've done all that, even if I had perfectly full use of my hands, without complaining loudly and often, or needing to take an extended break. Every time they came through the door with another load or piece of furniture, I was overwhelmed with a deep sense of gratitude for their presence and their perseverance, and everything they were doing for me. They made it seem easy, all things considered. On top of all that, the team lead was on the phone with higher-ups, explaining the situation to them and ensuring me that I wouldn't be charged for the time it took to troubleshoot the issue with the truck, which I really appreciated. I found out at the end of the move that one of the three moving team members was in training, and that this was his first move. I couldn't believe it! I cannot speak highly enough them and of the success of their teamwork. I was not really sure what to expect since I had never hired movers before, but I was struck multiple times by how I felt that they all really, genuinely cared about seeing the job through and making sure that the move went smoothly for me. I have so much respect for them, and I still feel like I can't adequately express my full gratitude for their work. I used Bellhops to help me move a couple weeks ago. This was the first move I was going to be doing by myself - no parents, siblings, even all of my friends were vacationing off to fun summer hot spots! So, Bellhops, to the rescue! I scheduled the service, and was shocked to receive a phone call from a real live person, the moving captain who would actually be at my move, within minutes of scheduling the service online. As if that wasn't enough, I received a second phone call by the end of the day from the other member of the team that would help me move. I felt confident that they would be on time, and really would do a great job. Moving day: they were not only on time, but early! They assessed my moving situation and quickly developed a game plan for how large items would be loaded and in what order. They wouldn't let me pick up anything heavy, and I could tell they were taking the job very seriously. They were careful every step of the way to make sure nothing would be bumped, dinged or damaged. When we got to my new place to unload, they did everything they could to make sure boxes went to their appropriate locations, and asked me questions about my preferences and really listened to my answers. I received a confirmation of services shortly after, where I confirmed the time it took to move and approved payment. If you can't tell, I was impressed. Moving is always stressful! After multiple military moves and thousands of dollars worth of damaged, destroyed or lost personal property/furniture I dreading my first move without government reimbursement. To my pleasant surprise this was by far THE BEST moving experience I've had hands down. Jerryal Jefferson and his team of professionals Kendall Keel, Howard Crawford, John Dewberry and Darryl the driver were on time and prepared for the job at hand. I received a message the day prior with an introduction and pictures of the team, as well as ask if I had any questions or concerns with their service. They ensured they treated my furniture as if it was theirs. Once they arrived to the destination, the truck was unloaded and the furniture was assembled and placed in the exact place I wanted. Same-day service was incredibly helpful and the guys were happy to serve, even on a super warm Southern afternoon! Ample communication via phone and email to confirm appt and plenty of follow-up to ensure the service was acceptable. My only suggestion to them was to emphasize or just remind customers to cover their furniture. As a rookie mover, it was not something I had thought of until it was too late. There were a couple of marks on my loveseat. I didn't ask for a refund or discount but BH's insisted that they give me some sort of discount. If this attention to detail and customer service holds up over time (not just in the beginning stages of building up a customer base), then they could expect to be around for a very long time. Up the ante on marketing! I found out about BH's when a friend of mine mentioned them in a Facebook post I made asking for help with moving some furniture. At 65 years of age and downsizing from 2000 sq feet to 1000 sq feet my wife and I found we still had lots to move in our recent relocation. There were several bulky and heavy pieces we first thought we would load ourselves ... Then we remembered we are not as young as we think! So with only a few days from our move date I contacted Bellhops not certain they could help on such short notice. My first contact confirms what my wife says about me that I worry too much over nothing cause Bellhops was not daunted at all by my late hour call nor the heavy items. They went to work right away to get the heavy lifters we needed. When the two fellows arrived, the team captain got there early, they went right to work and had us loaded well within the allotted time even through the challenge of to much stuff and not a very large truck. This was our first time using this company but it definitely will not be the last. We actually were trying to schedule the company we had used in the past but they weren't available for the day we needed. We googled and saw many other great reviews for Bellhops so we called. Not only were they available on short notice, they beat the other company's hourly rate by a landslide. Matt was very helpful on the phone in setting everything up, but the crew was absolutely awesome. Jhamall called the night before the move to confirm, arrived early and finished in half the time we anticipated for the job. Both he and Anthony were extremely personable and courteous throughout, checking several times over to make sure everything was in place to our preference. We recently used Bellhops for a multiple stop move. The move started in Atlanta where two extremely proficient young men met us to load up the 26' moving van we had rented. They were not only hard working but did I wonderful job organizing and loading the van. We had multiple pickup trucks as well as the van so they were pretty much self supervised. Then the following day we were off to Birmingham, where two more fellows met us to unload some of the van at our house and accompanied my husband and family up to our lake house to unload the remaining contents. I am extremely satisfied with my move by Bellhops. Their website was easy to use, and when I needed to change my payment method after booking they were very helpful. I found out ahead of time who would be coming (with pictures) and received a phone call the day prior confirming the move. Eventually it turned out that despite relatively new, their entire approach till the end of the shifting was absolutely professional to me including payment and duration of move. My move started on a rough note with the uhaul company and bellhops was there to assure my move would go smoothly. Customer service helped me move my time to assure I could still move today. I recently needed to move up 2 floors in my apartment complex due to a need for excessive repairs from prior flooding. Justin and Jarryal did a great job with helping me move on 1/19/20. They showed up on time and immediately started helping me move objects up to my new apartment. We were able to get all of the furniture moved and about 80% of the remainder of my possessions moved in the hour I requested them to help me move, leaving me in a good position to get the remainder of my apartment moved on my own afterwards. I was able to book Isaac for one hour and it worked out great. He called the night before and the morning of my move to ask if there was anything additional he could do to help and was very willing to work with me after I had to move the location and time of our appointment just a half hour before we had initially planned. He was polite and hard working as was the corporate office that I had to speak with in regards to changing my reservation. I had a great moving experience with bellhops! During my scheduled move one of the movers had some major car trouble and arrived late, but bellhops customer service made sure to get in contact with me and reimbursed me for the delay with a discount. Once both of the movers arrived it was a very smooth transition into my new place. I had 2 guys come help me move from one apartment to another! I heard about them through a Facebook group. They came highly recommended. After lots of phone calls, Bellhops was the cheapest I could find. $40/hr per guy. I had 2 guys help me for 2 hours for $160. The guys showed up early, worked hard, and were very friendly!
