I was a customer of Bellingham Cleaning Center before the pandemic for probably 10 years and they were great. They cleaned all my dress shirts and they did a great job. On the rare occasion a sweat stain on a collar didn't come out the first time, they'd run it through again and there was never a problem. I don't dress formally as often now so, after a few years away, I returned with four dress shirts. One came clean the first time through. They took the other three back to run through again. Another came clean with the second effort. Left the remaining two. One came mostly clean the third time and I figured it was close enough but the fourth was still not right. They ran it through once more. This time it returned, still not clean, with this little love note: "We will NOT re-clean this shirt again. This collar with NEVER COME CLEAN. Cleaned 5 times!! Perhaps you could try another cleaners that are more to your satisfaction." It was signed "RB, owner". No apology. No phone call, though I'd left my number and asked for the manager to call after the third try. No offer to refund for the shirt that didn't come clean. RB, the owner, need not worry about me returning. That will never happen. read more

Customers Beware...My husband delivered rwo large wool braided rugs to the bellingham cleaning center for cleaning. When we pick the rugs up and brought them home. We discovered that the rugs were puckered and would no longer lay flat when I called to speak with the business, a woman explained to me that she did not know hat had been done with rugs , as " I don't do that part of the cleaning." I asked to speak with the manager and then she acknowledged that she was the manager. But when I told her as the manager she's responsible for all of the business. She made offered to steam press the rugs. When we picked up the rugs and brought them home.They are still wrinkled and destroyed. I would not recommend this. business. read more

I love this laundry place because it's so cheap compared to everywhere else. All size washers and they have a tonn of the nice huge dryers. Workers are always friendly nice and helpful. Clothes come out good everytime, I can rely on this place. It's not the prettiest but I think theyve done good for what they got. read more

Friendly staff, a bit dirty and tired loobut lots of coin operated machines and pretty good value (about $7.50 for a wash depending on machine size and about the same for a dryer). Update- the reference to "a bit dirty" is not related to the salt and other dirt due to the snowy conditions but to dirty carpeting by the dryers and in the areas between washers. Not a major issue at all, the main thing is the staff are great, the machines work and the value is excellent- and so I've upped my rating to 4 stars. read more

I came to Bellingham Cleaning Center when my apartment building machines were out of service. It is exactly what you expect of a laundry mat, basic needs met, kind of dirty and outdated. Old and new machines; got the job done. No real complaints. Employee was pleasant and helpful when I required exchange large bill for small bills to get change. Pricing was reasonable, likely paid less than $1 more than usual. There were very few other customers present on an early weekday afternoon; nobody bothered me. I will return should I require public laundry in the future. read more

I made a yelp account just so I could review the horrible experience I had here. I brought in a brand new silk dress to be dry cleaned, when I came to pick it up all of the buttons were either cracked or chipped, and there were snags in the fabric. When I brought this to the attention of the women working at the counter she claimed that they do not cover buttons when dry cleaning even though they are mother of pearl buttons (!!!) and that the dress wasn't able to be dry cleaned (the tag clearly states to dry clean and cover the buttons). I received no compensation or even an apology for the destruction of my VERY expensive brand new dress. The willful negligence and atrocious customer service of this dry cleaners is troubling and I would highly recommend another dry cleaners. read more

So I was getting a suit dry-cleaned for Easter Sunday of which I took in on Tuesday. I looked at the suit and the stain was still there. I asked the guy if I could bring it back to get clean properly and he said yes I said well I need to wear tomorrow for Easter Sunday and he said oh well you can't wear it and bring it back I'm like what can I get half off the cleaning service being that the spot is still there he says I don't know then he goes on to say I don't know what you want me to do I said I'm at the cleaners I want you to get the stain out of my jacket I paid full price why can I get full service and then he told me we did the best that we could his name is Ben and he's an idiot. They wouldn't wash my stuff because it was from a barn. But it wasn't any dirtier than a dog jacket. It had some dirt, but that's why I was having them do it. Brio has never refused anything, so I guess I'll exclusively use them now. read more

Took my bedding in for a wash yesterday. One of my dryers had some sort of black plastic in it, possibly a reusable grocery bag, which completely and utterly destroyed my comforter, a gift from my mother last April, and my very expensive orthopedic pillow. A helpful employee named Leah assured me she would contact the owner about some sort of compensation. Well I was told today because of the "depreciation" of my blanket, (it's 8 months old) they could only refund me the money I spent ruining said blanket. This from the owner, who is in Costa Rica on vacation. Must be nice. So much for accountability. read more

I don't recommend this laundromat for a large number of reasons. The first and foremost is that it is an absolute pit. I've had to use laundromats for the better part of my adult life and this is the most disgusting one I've ever been in. Everything is filthy. And I don't just mean regular old filthy, I mean it looks like they haven't cleaned it in several years. Every surface was sticky, spilt detergent was all over the place, trash on the floors, trash in the machines, the machines were coated in grime... My wife felt sick just being there. Almost half the machines were out of order, the detergent vending machine eats your money if you put it in a little too fast, and most of the indicator lights on the machines weren't working. To top it off we had to run two of our loads twice because the machines failed to actually clean them. The dryers only give you 4-5 mins which is the lowest I've ever seen. The only thing that seemed to work right was the quarter machine. All in all, because we had to do a couple of our loads twice it cost the SAME as Brio for an experience that made us cringe. I've put up with laundromats for a long time, but this... this was terrible... read more

This store is a combination of laundromat and dry cleaners. They offer fair prices on dry cleaning and minor repairs with a good turnaround time. The large capacity washers and dryers are helpful for comforters or larger items. They offer free WiFi, but I haven't used it so far. The fact that the liquor store and Market have left the shopping strip makes me wonder if this location will stay open. read more

This laundromat is a casino in disguise you put your quarters in and your clothes get washed or wet, dryer or spun. It is definitly one of the highlights of my trip to bellingham. read more

Terrible customer service. I went to pick up my dry cleaning and I couldn't use my coupon upon pickup - apparently they can only be used when clothes are dropped off. When asked if it still was ok they said that they couldn't cause it was "too hard to go back into the system". I can't imagine a dry cleaner having a "complex system" that would prevent them from altering an existing order. The coupon doesn't state that it has to be presented on the day of drop-off, BUT a small, sign taped to the counter at the cleaners...does. The employee was not empathetic and/ or lenient towards my situation. She tried to make a joke of it of which I was not amused. read more
