I'd urge everyone looking for a great haircut and service to visit Bellissima. This was my first visit. I had a 2:30 appt for a haircut today and was at least half an hour early. When I went to park my car I had difficulty turning it to go into the small parking lot behind the salon and ran right into the chain link fence. It's a very tight squeeze and I scraped up my car pretty badly. I went into the salon to ask for some help and the owner Maria came right out and couldn't have been nicer. She gave me a little hug and then directed me to park, said next time to park across the way. Now I know. : ) We then went inside and she took me right away; we spent some time looking at the pictures I had bought in and discussed how best to cut it. She then proceeded to cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, and it looks and feels great!!! She made it look like the picture. She's very friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. The salon itself is very clean and tastefully decorated and the styling tools are clean. I will be going back again. The prices are also very reasonable. read more

It took me a long time to find a stylist that I love, and Maria is truly as good as it gets. She does excellent work, always has a smile, and her prices are so reasonable. When I first started going to Maria, I was looking to find the right shade of blonde for my hair and Maria knew exactly what I was looking for. She did it beautifully. Recently I decided I want to go for more low lights, and once again Maria knew exactly what I wanted. Her hair cuts are perfect, too! Aside from her expertise with hair, Maria keeps the salon absolutely spotless. Her dad (who is the cutest man alive) renovated the salon for Maria and he did an incredible job. It is the perfect balance of old-fashioned charm but with a modern look. It's comfortable, colorful, and makes you feel at home. Parking is always available on the street (no cost, no meters). I always look forward to going to Maria- we have become great friends through my visits over the years. Finding a good hair stylist can be as hard as finding a good doctor. I've been to many salons on many consultations. For years I've been looking for someone with well trained skills and the ability to connect to their clients... and most importantly, LISTEN! I've found it here with Maria. Have you ever come across someone whom you don't really know that well, but they just feel like family? Well, that is Maria for you. She is the sister you never had, AND she's excellent at what she does. She shampooed, cut, and styled my hair today, and everywhere I went, people could not take their eyes off of my hair. Additionally, her prices are thoughtful and considerate, and she will remember you and the conversation you had with her when you return. Her salon is minimal in the best way possible - a clean and inviting space - AND did I mention that she's a great stylist? FABULOUS! - I went to Bellissima Salon to have my hair redone. I had a horrific experience at another salon a few days before and hated the haircut I got. The worst part about my previous experience was that although the wash and cut cost $20, the blow dry was an extra $40! So I went to Bellissima after reading good reviews online. I can't express how AMAZING this place is. Maria knew exactly what she was talking about. My hair looks great and the wash, cut and blow dry was under $30! I'm really picky with who cuts my hair and after I had Vanessa cut it for the first time, I loved it and finally found a hair stylist that I love. Vanessa is really sweet and friendly as well as the rest of the staff that work there including Maria, the owner. If you're looking for a laid back old fashioned salon where the staff knows everyone's name and everyone is having a conversation with everyone then this is definitely the place for you. I would NOT trust my blonde strands to anyone, but Maria!....I am a natural brunette and somehow Maria makes me look like a natural blonde.
