First of all, he made me feel right away that he was there to represent me and my family and not one of those inspectors that is trying to help the realtor to sell the home. Well before I arrived he had already been there 30 minutes before our appointment and had already several things he had noted. He answered all my questions and never did I feel rushed. His report was very easy for me to read and I got it back quickly..This company seems to be very friendly and know how to show you that they want your family to be secure and safe with your home purchase. They didn't check the GFCI at the electrical panel because someone was still living in the home, and they didn't inspect the chimney because a removable guard was in place. We are extremely satisfied with our choice. The communication, respect for our home and family, quality of construction and attention to detail was amazing. After closing on the house in January and moving in last month, we've come to find many items that he missed on his inspection. The downstairs toilet was loose and not level, leading to wax ring failure which I had to fix. The refrigerator was full of mold(he checked all appliances) which I had to get replaced. He missed the burned outlet behind the fridge. He went up into the attic but missed leaks in the roof which were found by a reputable roofing company during their estimate. I'm disappointed in how much was missed considering how highly rated this company is.

My main concern was sweating vents in loft that was flipped from an attic, and Jayson did infrared imaging and saw that there was less insulation around it, which was having the heat hit all the cold air coming out causing sweating . Encompass provided me an online binder to see all of the notes. Once again, this was a great price with great quality and the electronic binder.

Pricing was secondary. I also looked at reviews prior to my calls. Power Clean Pros was the only company that picked up when I called. They agreed to my timeline of an estimate ASAP! The others had machines and did return calls the next day. The company rep Cole was out within 30 minutes. He surveyed the walk and the area on the brick wall that had mold from a shed that previously sat there. The cost was much higher than I expected at $250, but a quick turnaround was desired. Two days later Cole came out with truck and trailer and went to work. He has all of his own equipment and just requested a water source. Within an hour or so the job was done and looked excellent. There were a few minor areas on the wall that I discussed with him. He was willing to come back. It was explained that pressure on brick is a fine line to not damage. He erred on the conservative side. The company does not take credit cards, so its cash, or check. I was not available when the job concluded and mailed a check. I would use them again and return.

I had a leaking window on my rental property in Virginia Beach. I needed the outside leak fixed and inside repaired. I got told "small jobs aren't worth me driving out there so it's easier if I just fix it on the spot". I told him I live in DC and can't nor will I authorize that and this was not going to be a 1 day job. I got told he'd talk to my tenant on the following Friday. My tenant never got a call so I can only assume nobody showed up. I guess an $8000 job is too small for these ppl. Must be nice to not have to worry about small jobs or to just blow off ppl .
