We loved the first home we were shown and had Ben come to inspect. It was a much older house so we expected some things to be wrong, but, that was definitely an understatement. Ben was very thorough with the home inspection and walked us through the process step by step to make sure we understood everything he was seeing. He showed us all kinds of things that we would have never been able to see on our own that could have been damaging to our health and the value of the house. We soon found out that that house was not for us with his assistance. His report was just as informative and helpful with even more detail that we could have imagined. First he made the scheduling easy. Both my wife and I work, and Ben was great about working around our schedules. His work ethic at the house was terrific - no stone went unturned, and we felt he was incredibly thorough (we saw him drenched in sweat after combing through the attic, in August). The best part, though, was Ben's "presentation" of his work. He took us around all 3 floors, inside and outside, to personally show us what he had found and explained (in detail) how everything worked. Also, this was a FSBO and the seller also happened to be there during the inspection. While other inspectors may have ignored or been uneasy around the seller, Ben (after running it by us first) ALSO showed the seller the issues he discovered, in a nice and explanatory way that really eased what could have been a tense afternoon. After all this, he worked up a great report for us with tons of pictures, that detailed each issue and was even ranked in order of severity (so we knew what to ask for on the PICRA, and what could wait). In our case, Ben noticed an issue with the way that the fireplace/chimney was set up, that he felt needed to be inspected by a chimney professional (ask for a "Level 2" inspection, he told us). The following day, he called to ask if we had any questions, and also re-emphasized the importance of having the chimney inspected. As we were already blown away with his work, we took Ben's advice and paid for the setup of the chimney to be inspected. Of course Ben's hunch was right on the money, and it ended up saving us about $3,000 in seller concessions for the repair. We'd give him 6 stars if we could!

Charged $500 to do a small home, front porch, and deck. They did a poor job in cleaning the front…read moreporch and left streaks where they missed spots. They also directly sprayed exterior outlets and my Ring doorbell, causing permanent damage and costing me an additional $100 to repair and replace. So my overall cost is $600 and I'm still looking at a dirty home. When I reached out to them about my complain they were incredibly defensive- despite me making it clear I wasn't asking for a discount- and insisted that I couldn't prove they caused any of the damage, that it was the paint making it look dirty instead of them missing any areas, and that it was unfair of my to post any reviews without allowing them to come back and touch up the missed areas. On my first negative review they responded by exposing my personal information in retaliation. Due to their defensive tone and the damage already caused I'm not interested in allowing them back on my property.
