We just moved back to the area, and with a move comes finding new people to trust with our hair. My husband was able to walk in late morning and only had a short wait. His hair was cut in maybe 15 minutes and he is extremely pleased (and he is particular about his hair). The shop was very clean and the barbers were professional. Omg, I've finally found a barber that knows how to cut hair in this town!! I've tried every barbershop in C-Ville and had horrible results. The barber named Blanton (spelling?) gave me the best haircut I've ever had! I nervously stopped in yesterday and this dude crushed it. He's said he's been cutting for like 30 yrs and cuts part time now. I was in the military and have had many haircuts from barbers all over the world. I know what I'm talking about. I'm picky. He didn't talk my ear off either. Loved that too. I've gotten more compliments on my haircut in the last 2 days than I have in 7yrs. Lol I respect that he doesn't cut kids though because my son is a pain to cut at home even. That's fine. I'll just get some ME TIME every few weeks. He's takes walk-ins but said he may soon offer appointments. I'm pumped. Customer for life! read more

This is my go to barbershop in Cville and I have been going here for years now. They do a great job and will create whatever you want with your hair! The owners are super friendly and will gladly chat if you want or will be silent if you prefer the quiet. They have classic rock music going in the background which I love! This place is barebones inside but has all you need for a fresh cut. There are two retro barber chairs and the line is usually never that long. The only problem I have is sometimes they close before they are supposed to if it's a slow day so make sure to call so they wait for you! I can get an awesome haircut for $14 (+tip) so I definitely recommend checking out this place! read more

Cuts here are really solid for a great price. I moved here from a big city and I get my hair cut here in half the time for half the price. I didn't know so few cuts could do it so well. Top-notch barber shop! Used to go here regularly when I worked downtown. Since then, I've searched for a decent barber near Hollymead. That search has proved futile, so I'll be returning to Belmont. This place always gave good haircuts and was reasonably priced and quick. But several months ago we went in there and despite signs implying that they were taking safety precautions, no one was wearing masks and they didn't have any sanitizer or anything for customers. Prices are great and the barbers are professional and do good work. However they constantly close early, it's a roll of the dice on whether or not you'll spend time and gas money for no reason. This week alone they closed at 4:30 on a Wednesday when their closing time is 6 and today on Friday they closed at 2:30 when closing time is 5 pm. You're better off paying a few more bucks elsewhere and not having your time wasted. read more
