I asked the owner about the difference between Package 3 and Package 4--the $80 Ultimate Orbital Wax and the $90 Premium Carnauba Paste Wax. He walked me through both options and recommended what made the most sense based on the condition of my car. Before I could even choose, he offered to upgrade me one package at no charge since it was my first visit. That alone showed how much they value their customers and want them to return. It's no surprise they've been in business for more than 25 years. I've also included a photo of their current services and pricing for anyone interested. The service took about 45 minutes, and they have a nice shaded waiting area where you can watch your car being detailed. I decided to walk over to Clancy's across the street, grab a cold one, and watch the France-England World Cup third-place match--which was an absolute banger with 10 goals--and returned about an hour later. When I got back, my car was parked off to the side looking like a beaut. I gave it a quick walk-around and was stoked to see it shining like a million bucks. There were no missed spots, the inside and outside were both done right, and it looked as clean as the day I drove it off the lot. One of the guys saw me checking it out, walked over, started it up, and pulled it around for me. The interior looked pristine, and the included air freshener was the cherry on top. Because of the great service, free upgrade, and care they showed my car, I handed the guy a $20 tip. That brought the full Premium Carnauba Paste Wax detail to $100 out the door--which anyone who has visited nearby car washes knows is a killer deal for a full wash and wax. I will 100% be back. Beach City Auto Detail is now where I'll take both of my vehicles, and I actually look forward to returning because I know I'll leave happy. If you're tired of half-done jobs that leave you frustrated and still put a dent in your wallet, give these guys a shot. I highly recommend them.

If you care about your car, please read this before bringing your car to Bixby Auto Car Wash. On (June 21st) around 1:40 PM, While watching through the viewing window, I noticed the staff having significant trouble guiding my car onto the automated rails. An attendant ended up forcing and adjusting the vehicle on the rail, and right then, I saw my front driver-side hubcap pop off. When the car came out, the hubcap was missing. The manager on duty found it, but it was clearly broken, buckled, and fractured from being crushed against their rail guide. The manager snapped it back on and assured me it would hold, but because the structural integrity was completely compromised, it flew off on the road the next day and is now gone. I took close-up photos of the damage on-site under their canopy before leaving. I have called multiple times, sent a detailed email with photos, and even reached out via direct message. Total silence. I have yet to receive a single response from the owners or upper management. But then again, why would they want to take responsibility for damaging a customer's car? When an issue actually happens, no one here wants to be held accountable. An important warning to future customers: Keep a very close eye on your car while it's on the line. Honestly, it makes me wonder if they deliberately frosted the glass in the viewing area just to keep customers from easily observing their cars getting damaged. They have the exact timestamp (June 21st between 1:35 PM and 1:45 PM) to check their security cameras and verify every single word of this, but they choose to ignore me instead. I will absolutely never be coming back here. Take your business somewhere that actually respects your property and responds when they make a mistake!

It didn't leave a lot of wet spots on the car, meaning that I didn't have to put a lot of effort in drying it myself. They gave me a hand wipe, and a refresher for the car. 17 bucks seems to be pretty good for what I got. I almost got the $22 one, but I think I'll save that for special occasions. I came in at 11:50am excited to get the $7 wash have I noticed the employees wipe your car down at the end, which is a big plus, & since my car didn't get all the way clean the first time around, still has some dirt marks, the manager let me go through the wash again and the man at the end is going above and beyond to make sure it's fully wiped down all around and on top because it's a Tesla, it's roof is see thru clear and we can see all the dirt! It wasn't busy when we stopped by on a Wednesday early afternoon. It is initially set-up just like a car-wash at a gas station, where you drive to the front of an automated building. Before you enter, an attendant will ask for payment and credit cards are accepted. He will direct your car's front wheels to the right spot, ask to put your car into neutral, and the track will slowly pull your car through the wash where soap and cloth wheels will wash the dirt from your car. As you exit, there is another attendant that will hand-dry both sides of your car which is a nice touch. You can then drive to an open parking spot where there are vacuums on both sides to use...this is included as part of the wash. There are 3 levels of pricing, with the lowest (simple shampoo and hand dry) being $7. None of them includes an undercarriage flush (this is a must in places where they salt the roads, and was the main reason I would even get a car wash)...not necessary in Cali. Per my wife, the vacuum was especially strong today, and useful in getting out the beach sand. Also ended up losing some loose change (amazing how coins will end up in any crevice). I wonder if somebody looks for these when the vacuum traps are cleaned out.

There's a little traffic light at the end of the car wash telling you whether to stay in neutral or to drive. At the end of the car wash, you can park and have an employee wipe down your car. I always make sure to tip them. There's also vacuums as well. The employees are nice! Very little interactions as it's just paying, getting change back, being told where to drive and when to put your car in neutral, being asked if you want your car wiped down, and tipping the employee. It's nice that they give $1 off for Yelp Check-In and for LBCC students with valid I.D. Getting into the car wash and out of the car wash is fairly easy so I would come back!
