My husband was impressed with examination and simplicity of getting a hearing aid. After using a trial pair and paying over 6k on the spot he decided it wasn't for him. Although they have a 100% free returns it's been 4 weeks and we haven't received our over 6k back in check form. Seems that we have to pay on spot we could get our money back on the spot. Ummmm we will see but this isn't acceptable. read more

i bring my mother there to see Michael Lee. He helped her the first time she bought hearing aids 5 years ago. She goes back to make adjustments and ask questions several times a year. I had my follow up appointment, which went well, greeting was good and Michael as always very professional had very experience today.

Had an appointment for next week, they called me this morning and said they had an opening today for me, so I took it. The ladies up front were very polite and friendly. The doctor came out, introduced himself and ran me through the test, explained the results. At this time I don't need hearing aids but if I ever do, I will come here first. Just moved here. Have a pair of Phonek hearing aides and doing a Google search this location could repair them for me. Walked in and was told by the woman there they couldn't fix these, but she did clean them for me. Thank you. Said they could offer me a free hearing test that afternoon and said 2pm would be a good time. I arrived little before 2 no other customer there and sat down. Another older couple came in after me and a little after 2 the woman came out and brought the older couple to the back, saying she would be with me shortly. By 310pm I was done waiting and left. Why schedule me to come in for 2 and let me wait over an hour!! On a positive note and the only reason for a 2 stars as opposed to 1, was Chelsea who worked the front desk. She answered phones, spoke in a very professional manner to everyone and was a positive way. If she wasn't wearing a mask im sure she was smiling. read more

My name is Bettie Cook. I have been blessed by your company to be a happy/proud recipient with a pair of Hearing Aids. The new hearing aids changed my life. I no longer live in a make believe world but the real world with hearing and participating. I went into the Beltone Chesapeake location to get repairs to the old hearing aids. I was using Rite Aide/Walmart hearing amplifier. Even in using them I was frustrated, very depressed and anxiety fare up. As always I just knew that even if aids could be repairs I would still suffered with not clearly understanding sound/voices clearly. I received a very warm professional greeting from Patient Care Coordinator - Michele Dilks. Then I received a warm greeting from Ms Drewry Tatterson Hearing Aid Specialist. Ms Tatterson approach was remarkable filled with heartfelt compassion. I explained to her why my hearing was bad and shared my past experiences goods/bad with other hearing aids dealers. As tears start flowing down my face I felt a release of my the anxiety/depression I was holding inside for a decade. I was living as a prisoner in an unclear hearing tunnel. I would pretend to hear conservations not asking other to speak up because people seem to get upset when you ask them to repeat what they said or question if your hearing aid work or you need to turn it up. The older become the worst my hearing seem to become. I suffer with anxiety and depression and the loss of hearing had me feeling broken, physically, mentally and emotionally. I was living in a lonely un-hearing/understanding life. I just gave up on being able to enjoy a normal life socializing and enjoying other conservations. Ms Tatterson understood my hearing problems and knew I has not been receiving the clarity I needed. For years I have been frustrated and embarrassed about not understanding what being said. Often wanting to participate in activities I could not because people would say: she can't hear, she will make mistakes not understanding the instructions. Even going to church I heard the message but could not understand the speaker. Trying to hear/understand on the phone have been frustrating and heartbreaking. Asking people to repeat themselves often brought tears to my eyes. Often after explaining I am hearing impaired and asking just be patience with me I be told: you can't hear me, turn up phone volume or there is not no one around that can hear for you or just hang up phone on me. My family/people would think I am confused, unresponsive, or uncooperative because I didn't hear or understand what was being said. Ms Tatterson programmed a pair loaner aids which I was not expecting. Even with them I was expecting a temporary fix. I was praying asking God for a chance and to let them work for me. When she handed me the aids and I put them on I felt like cement was removed and my ears opening them to sounds/clarify. I was release of being a prisoner in uncleared hearing tunnel. I now live in a beautiful world full of beautiful sounds and clarify and I can hear. I deeply thank Ms. Tatterson for going those extra miles to help me be able to continue to hear and be a part of today hearing world. I called her my hearing angel. I want to thank her for submitting my Beltone Care Foundation application and I thank the Beltone Care Foundation for approving my application. Beltone definitely given me a completely new outlook of life. The new aids have uplifted me mentally, physically and spiritually. I love the feeling of hearing, participating in conservations, doing visual phone appointments, taking care of my personal business and just feeling like I am human being.
